In 2004 I believe it was, she injured herself again during a performance and continued working on it then when she was shooting the video for Outrageous with Snoop a few months later she injured it so badly that she was never able to finish the video and had to cancel an entire tour. She hasn't been able to perform the same ever since.

This performance was lit! The dancers, band, Brit's energy. It's also evident that Britney is Janet Jackson's pop mother. The styling (classic mid-drift), headset mic(Janet made this popular), non-stop choreo, also Britney's best bops are always R&B leaning, even if they seem pop.

She may not have the greatest voice but her stage presence and performance was what made her. Many singers of her time even with a better voice could not command the level of stardom she did. Haters need to give her credit where credit is due. She was indeed an icon of her time.
