- A story on how a group of people from Minnesota are trying to revive and grow a forgotten sport here in North America. This is a story about Team USA and their pursuit to prove the Bandy world wrong.

That's the comparison I was given when I asked what's it like when @usa_bandy competes against countries like Sweden Finland Norway and Russia. But yet what @usa_bandy has been able to accomplish in the world of Bandy is outstanding. Nice to see bandy still being played in North America! maybe I'll be able to play a game someday.

Very interesting to see this. I grew up in a very small village called Bluntisham, England which is where the sport of Bandy originated from in the 1800s. As kids in the winter time we used to love playing on the ice over the fen. The village sign even shows people playing bandy.
Very beautiful video. I developed an interest in the sport and it's cool to see how USA bandy is developing.

Very cool to see. At first whe I heard Minnesot I thought bandy was brought in by immigrants from the Nordic countries since there was a lot of them in that area. Surprised to hear that bandy was introduced another way, but still cool to see you keeping it up. And I hope you get some more sponsors to your team.

Nice mini-doc. Small correction. I think goal in bandy in not same size as it is in football, soccer for you americans. I think it's a bit smaller. Height might be close but width is smaller.

Bandy is really cool, it's neat to see how the Minnesota group keeps it going in the US. I'm surprised there aren't programs in Alaska and New England!

These guys are severely overestimating how big bandy is in Norway.
Also how much money bandy players make, if they make any. But respect for them keeping the sport alive in America.

@@between.the.benches Any home game for Villa Lidköping is a very good display of bandy. The best individual game tho would probably be the classic derby of Bollnäs vs Edsbyn the 26th of december every year. Matches can be watched online on Bandypuls or Expressen TV but bandy is ofcourse better to see live.
@@between.the.benchesBollnäs and Villa Lidköping are two teams that have great athmospehere. It also depends if you wanna watch indoors or outdoors. It is a very different experience!
