      Don’t be so quick to want to put people in cages. That’s the attitude that this officer has and you seem to be showing the same attitude. Don’t know if you have ever spent time in a cage, but I think it’s fair to say that it’s not something that should be treated lightly and so flippantly tossed about. Most important, were there any wrongful convictions? Has the department done anything to prevent similar behavior? I don’t know how many times he kidnapped people in order to conduct an investigation, but that’s what needs to be addressed, kidnapping!!! I bet if officers would be charged with kidnapping for arresting someone who turns out to be innocent, they would exercise a lot more common sense, rather than pulling out the script to justify their behavior.

      Yes their records should follow them everywhere, but this cop and or law enforcement officials at all levels should be a zero tolerance (like the war on drugs). Not matter what they did. If they have the power to F$%k up (or kill) someone's life at the push of a button, something needs to be done to KEEP them in check. They need to lose their job, lose their benefits and can't get a job in law enforcement anywhere every again. Jail time times 2 if the crime fits. At the point law enforcement is just a large criminal organization and the thin blue line thing is just a gang symbol, but we the people are taken for protection money.

      A cops personnel file/ record do follow them everywhere. The problem is their records are mainly used interdepartmentally ie promotions ,disciplinary actions, and or any special training or assignments performed by the Office. The public most of the time Is not privy to the information inside an Officer file.
      However things are changing and with the advent of the Brady List, keeps the red tape to a minimum . The Brady list permits anyone to perform a search by Name & or by Agency name to view code of conduct issues, job performance issues Since this concept is new and in its development stages. Building the data base is gonna take good amount of time. But WORTH the wait.

      I keep saying eventually these cops will expose themselves in mostly white communities.
      Problem is white people don’t care about anything unless it immediately and directly has a negative impact on their lives or takes them off the top of the food chain. And when it comes to cops???
      They treat cops like Gods and let them do whatever they want.

    This is how I assume cops talk to each other if and when I’m ever detained by them and I have zero trust for them and assume they are my enemy. I have been pulled over 3 time within 2020 and every time I’ve told the cops straight off the bat I don’t answer questions and they don’t pry after that.

    Pieces of scrap with badges. Par for the course these days in America. I'm retired military and a combat veteran and I am very guarded with my respect for law enforcement in America these days. Although I treat them with respect; with a lot more respect than I've seen them treat American citizens with on far too many occasions. Sad truth.

    • @Rejoice.
      @Rejoice. 3 роки тому

      Exactly, just look at the dozens of videos of mass shootings around the US dating back to Columbine, cops just standing around, letting people bleed to death.
      Never forget, that when Columbine happened, after the gunmen had killed themselves, kids put a sign up in a window saying there was teacher bleeding to death, for hours the police sat there doing *NOTHING* as that *REAL HERO* bled to death.
      They were too scared to enter even through a window into a secure room to save that Teacher.
      This is the vast majority of police, cowards who hide when the time for action arises, some I assume, are good people, who do the right thing. But the vast, vast majority of police are cowards.

But then again a fear when they call on me and approach me when in public, I just don’t know where they are going to go with me. It shouldn’t be that way. What’s happening to us as a country, seriously!
