This man is a fantastic speaker, the problem is i only found this by accident thinking it was a lecture about Samuel Coleridge but i stayed and watched and it all becomes very clear on how governments operate, this man totally captivated me and what he said should be shouted from the Town hall steps of everywhere in Britain,i am going to share this upload to everyone one i know it is the very least i can do.

    Why so few viewers.
I like the “hope framework". We as a species also have a responsibility to be very aware to only communicate hopeful & creative ways of galvanizing all humanity.

I broke down in tears whith your words "some of these kids simply should not be indoors" I was one of those kids. I feel so abused and denied of my human rights by the inhumane schooling system that i simply decided never to have any kids myself. I simply can not function outside of nature. Not will not, *can* not. Now i'm being kicked back into some meaningless 0 hour factory job after 10 years of disabling depressions, back (probably resulting from all the sitting in class for 14 years during bone development), stress and mental problems because we all should be participating, even the people on disability, in this glorious economy where everyone gets a chance! (Read: gets a slavejob) without getting beep all for it, except my usual water and bread. What will i have left after having to probably give up my vegetable garden because i have to work 4 hours a day and won't have a back or any sanity left to also tackle my single household plus the garden work. Thank god i don't have any kids on top of that mess. Holland (where i live) has gone bonkers too, just like the UK. Like robbing me of my youth wasn't enough. They will squeeze from me the last bit of functioning time i have left because it clearly doesn't belong to me, it belongs to the businesses, getting fat off the subsidies over my back (only pennies for them! but they'll have every single one of them!) while i won't have a single thing left to live for.

A lot to agree with here but I think Monbiot needs to get into some schools to see the exciting things teachers are doing in the classroom. It's not learning by rote and copying from the textbook like it used to be. At least not in any of the three East London comprehensive schools I have taught at. Outdoor learning is marvelous and we do need more of it, but let's not forget pupils also have to learn how to multiply fractions with a pencil and paper, be able to use a paragraph properly and carry out a reliable investigation into acid-base reactions. These things don't happen by yomping through mud (as fun and important as that also is).

Don't disrupt others life. Disrupt your own life first. If it is any good I will follow your suggestions

I do find this guy very annoying. I wanted to vote Remain!! I thought Business As Usual was working in the UK!! I am so IRRITATED to find the UK has no Lands Register. REALLY?? As for the feudal taxes... that's appalling. Purely horrific. I have never earned 300,000 pounds a year, and my taxes were paying those shites!!!! For OWNING LAND. Which I COULD NOT AFFORD TO BUY. AAAAAAAARGGGH. Can they change that law next week?
