- Hi, everyone! Welcome to #ShowbackThursday where we go back in time and share those most precious moments in my career. This first video I'd like to share with you is a song I still do up to today. And the people I performed it with, The Manoeuvres, all have their own sets of fans so it felt really amazing to hear the crowd cheering. Here's one of my personal favorite upbeat songs - Look In Her Eyes from the 1991 concert Major Impact.

This is the song that begun my fairy tale relationship with my husband for 28 years now.
The choreo here is LIIIIT and I daresay even stands up to today's modern choreography.

sir Gary V.! memorable po sa amin itong Look in her eyes. ito po ung sinayaw namin nung 1992 sa Don Bosco Tarlac nang mag champion kami. inirecord po namin sa cassette tape itong concert po na ito. napanood ko ngyon nagbalik ang sigla. Sir Gary baka meron po kayo Showback nung concert nyo sa Baguio. By request po yata yun...na ginawa po sa University of Baguio.memorable po sa akin ung concert na yun...kasi doon ko po kayo nakahatawan...you're on the stage then nung makita nyo ako sa bench pinastop nyo po ung tugtog then pinag isahan po natin ang spotlight... at nung sinabi nyo "ok dance with me" dun na po natin sinayaw ang hataw na! it was a dream came true po sa akin ung oras na un. un ang pinangarap ko since Grade 3...kasi nung grade 3 disappointed po ako nung d ko napanood ang concert nyo sa Diwa ng Tarlac dahil binawal po ang mga bata nun for safety reason. Now I'm 43 na po and still humahataw pa po sa mga kanta nyo and passing it po sa mga anak ko. maraming salamat po sir Gary V. sa inspirasyon!

Im still holding ma ticket for that concert... tinago ko po talaga.. pati yun sa SHOUT concert at MOVE concert sa Araneta..
Gusto ko po sana mag sign ng collection ko.. mga cassette tapes pa po yun iba.. kaso dko po alam kung paano po ako mkakalapit sa inyo idol..
Yun ibang collection ko nga po na undoy pa noon.. 😥
Buti nalang at na save ko rin po yun double cassette tape ko ng full concert nyo po ng Shout concert at Move concert..
Colletors item napo yata ang double cassette tapes ko..

Nothing beats, then or now, the movements, the flow of choreography of Uriel/Gary. I think Uriel gets his ideas from his North American friends and mentors and I say this because the quality, the sequence, the "suave", the difficulty, the complexity, the science, the cadence, transitions, the professional outcome of it all when the movements are executed, are nothing like the ones continually dished by other groups or performers on tv or on stage. The overall product represents the height of performance, arts, creativity, and generosity. You guys truly give your all and you make it truly one-of-a-kind.
