- I've had this one edited for a month and a half now. I found it pretty interesting, just be sure that if you wanna listen to only one, go to settings and make sure sound only comes out of one ear. Trust me, it makes all the difference. Also, the harmonies sound kinda cool at the end.

i was gonna make a video like this but then i saw this and just gave up lmao
its interesting to see what liberties avenge took when remaking egoless, such as the bad apple section and removing some touches from the old version such as the shepards tone part in the beginning of act 7 or almost entirely changing the pre-brown recluse part in act 8 (thus removing the weird gimmick of the whole changing channels to switch between "references" (thats what the static was for)) and ALSO extending brown recluse to be its own part of the song (probably to be about as long as the RNG sections?)
theres a lot of extension/reduction crap in the new version, actually, like the pre-solo buildup was extended to be twice as long as the original, or how Breather got extended which led to victory verse getting shorter, or how Audible Cue was shortened to not overstay its welcome like it did in the original
also Now Do It In Reverse LMAO was extended to end where the Soulless 5 Solo begins (Tripped Reverse) instead of ending at Writhing Reverse like the original
i think Egoless Remastered is a bit longer than Egoless Classic by like, a minute or two??? due to some of these changes
and we cant forget avenges efforts to actually make egoless... y'know, listenable as a song, increasing variations of key changes (and making some sections not off-key or off-putting)
and replacing the streched out "Imagine the Nerves" in Ultimate Solo with a "this is wacky as shit" slightly earlier in the solo we can't forget that
I was very surprised when I learned that the beginning of act 8 was like that in the original. I’m equally glad that it was replaced
I'm actually really curious, what *are* the references in Act 8? I can only recognize TTFAF and Black Widow. I really like the part before Brown Recluse so I'd like to know

It seems to be one section from each of the main gh games (not including artist-specific gh games or band hero)

Honestly I think the new version of Egoless sounds a LOT better then Soulless 5, but I see what you mean
Strange but some parts sounded pretty good. Mostly 20 percent of it is okay and the other 80 percent sounds very wrong lol

how did you make both charts sync
Both songs were already at the same BPM, the biggest challenge came from lining up the sections that were longer or shorter than their old versions. That’s when you see a chart cut out for a couple of bars and then come back in. The biggest difference between the two charts was definitely the beginning of act 8, however I only needed to cut the new chart by like 5 beats somehow.
@@vikingsrule33problem with that: the one recovery of the bad version on UA-cam doesn’t sync to 130 bpm because i wanted to do the full bad experience but having it not timed would be more hell than just playing it
Late reply but the video I used was Hekya’s original upload, which was still available back before his entire channel was nuked. That video synced perfectly with the other, so idk why the reuploaded version would be out of sync, unless it was due to lag spikes.
IMO you should try and record the charts yourself if your computer can handle it, since I don’t think there are any full band previews out there for ANY version of Egoless.

@@TheBeast94YT Yeah just had a look at that video and there’s no download link, and unfortunately it’s not in the frif drive either, so you might just have to ask some community member for the chart. I don’t think the chart is publicly available anymore out of respect for Hekya
