- Behind Kevin Durant’s NBA Playoff career-high 50 points (15-26 FG, 6-14 3pt FG), 6 rebounds and 5 assists, the Warriors defeated the Clippers tonight in Los Angeles 129-110. The Warriors win the series 4-2 and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals where they will face the Houston Rockets. With his performance:
• Kevin Durant is the 6th player in NBA Playoff history to score 45+ points in consecutive postseason games (Michael Jordan 3x, Jerry West, Bernard King, Kobe Bryant and Russell Westbrook).
• Durant is the 4th player in Warriors’ franchise history to record a 50-point game in the NBA Playoffs (Wilt Chamberlain 4x, Rick Barry, Eric "Sleepy" Floyd).
• Durant and Damian Lillard (50 points vs. Oklahoma City on April 23) become the first pair of players to record 50+ points in series-clinching games in the same NBA Playoffs.

All stars don't make a team, the depth does. when the all stars leave the court if the depth can't keep the lead they lose. The warriors had all stars and depth, they just lost the all stars. but they should have won if not for their injuries. so until you can argue with more than "how many", just stop talking

Had Durant not gotten hurt, he would’ve had one of the most historic individual playoff performance. Sucks that he had an achilles injury in the dead middle of his prime.

I'm just an NBA fan, and my hat is off to the Warriors' management for their run in the previous 4 years (not counting this year because it isn't over). The entire package they put together, including coaches, players (only 5 of whom were there all 4 years), medical staff, etc. During that 4 years:
1. They won as many championships as any team ever has in a 4-year period, post-merger. (Give the 1950s-60s Celtics their props, but let's face it, when they started, you automatically made the playoffs and if you won just 2 series you were the champs, and you didn't have to worry about salary caps). Different era.
2. They won more playoff games than any team EVER in a 4-year period: 63.
3. They made the Finals 4 times, which is literally the most you can do in a 4-year period.
4. They set the regular season record for wins in a single season.
5. They set the regular season record for wins in a 3-year period.
6. They set the regular season record for wins in a 4-year period.
7. They set the playoffs record for best winning percentage in a single playoffs (2017: 94.1%).
No other management has been able to pull off anything close to that in a 4-year period.
If they lose KD, or when Steph and Klay get too old to be effective, I'm not counting out this management's ability to draft, trade, and sign talent in the future.

That was the strategy used by spurs against den last game, they double teamed curry nd klay and let kd do all the shooting. With only 1 gsw scoring, LAC could wins. So KD rained all shots he can ( as what he did on game 5, but was not just enough to pull them thru), however LAC didnt anticipate that green and iggy will greatly contribute this time. There were lessons learned by gsw by their 2 losses with LAC in 1st round.
