Add Subwoofer to one of the L or R Pre outs, which then extracts the LFE from the stereo mix. It works excellent.

This is exactly the integrated amplifier I have been looking for. Optical in with stereo pre outs so I can connect a pair of powered subwoofers that have their own crossovers. Thank you.

I’m trying to connect my A&H mixer to my a9150 without much success. I have 2x xlr to rca out of the mixer, which input on the 9150 is right for connecting to? Thanks

Hi Anthony, yes, you can use the A-9150 as pre-amp only - adding a power amplifier with the power you require...
Hi! The manual says 8 ohm - 30 watts per channel and 4 ohm - 60 watts per channel. So is it safe to conclude that if paired with a 6 ohm speaker the amp will rate around 45 watts?

Built in 32 bit DAC AKM, also built in dedicated phono stage and custom made transformer, capacitors....., good construction and design! Musical amplifier with all this things for 500 euros, what else?
I bought this amp just over a year ago. It's been responsible for relagating my valve amp to the bedroom system. It's that good!

why only 60 watts at 4 ohms that's very weak my ole 97 rx396 is 50watts rms at 8 ohms ?
TJ McDonald - The other features are what make it attractive, and not the output power.
TJ McDonald - Just as a reference, this amp has a slew rate of 500 volts/microsec. A typical high end Bryston or comparable amp has 60volts/microsec.
why less power per channel than the a-9010?
This is a design decision by the engineers - as it's not only the pure power that is responsible for a dynamic and accurate audio reproduction...
OnkyoEU ok that answered my ? earlier most of the money went to build the dac why not just make it a preamp then ? what's 30watts going to push ? why such a big transformer for low wattage ?
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 it is far enough for most home applications.
In this price range the marantz pm-7005 is far better choice.
Also have big transformer,but 2x15000 nichikon caps, delta sigma d/a converter, excellent speaker terminals, more power (enough for everything), and essentially clear warm and powerful sound without tone, loudness or subwoofer.
I changed from onkyo to marantz.
