The water will reside back in the ocean in a few days . Please help any stray animals you find please be kind .
There is no way I would live in a place that requires your house to be on stilts!
fish from your bedroom!
@@seabertotter4325 Nah, I like trolling. 🛥 🐟

I lack sympathy for people who live on the beach in places known for hurricanes and tropical storms. These are not the houses of people who have no choice about where they live.
They're for people who are young and have no knee issues/can climb stairs. Probably a lot of vacation rentals
Not true. Look up New Orleans, and north Houston, where the severely polluted properties of black and brown people is all they can afford. Cancer Alley is its nickname.
Seems to be a consistent occurrence. If the water makes it above the stilts, then we have a story 🤷🏿♀️
There is no story needed. These people bought beachfront homes that will inevitably be destroyed by the ocean. End of story.
All I can say is really o my goodness
Door step fishing baby…
Looks like a smart bulid on the housing..
It's required by law
No one who lives there ever expected this to happen.
Yes they did, why else would they have to raise their homes on pylons.
@@alejandrollamas692 I think the guy was joking
I have only one thing to say, if you must live in a house on stilts, you might want to consider moving to higher ground.
But this time we see a difference . The houses are now built 8-10 feet above the predicted flood plain , roof is intact because hurricane anchors firmly attach it to the structural frame.
This is the type of characters we have here in Flor-duh. Even when they travel outside of State, they’re still Flor-duh true and true.
I was a building official during super storm Sandy. To call it mayhem is an understatement. It's a waste of taxpayer resources and money when you're providing insurance for people that didn't get insurance on houses cuz they lived by the water and it cost too much. We footed the bill only to save towns from their tax revenue dropping. They'd have no consideration to just not live beyond their means and spend less. So they have to keep the machine alive and that means all taxables need to be taxed!
Wonderfull. With an andalussi's silence... FEU A VOLONTE.
Birth pains are really close together now Jesus is coming🙌🏿🙌🏿
He's been coming every time there's a natural disaster. Yet somehow never gets ĥere.
"Hey, I got an Idea, let's build below SEA LEVEL, again. "
If you live by a volcano it can erupt,
If you drive a big truck it gets bad gas mileage.
And if you live by the water your house can be flooded. Why didn't you have insurance or have enough of it? I'm sick of footing these costs.
I will never understand why people keep moving down south to either Florida or the tornado valley states. Common sense is lacking, greatly.
If your house was on stilts then you would not have interior damage to your walls
I don't understand homes being built that close to the water and especially not on stilks. Not should not be insurable because all of us bear the costs. At the minimum, if insurable, a separate pool of insurance.
It appears this town is very used to this and it is normal. All the houses are on stilts.
It's all part of the American dream
While I hope everyone is safe, I have to say welcome to climate change - despite what has been said by GOP Climate Change Deniers.
That's what happens when you live close to the water 🤷
That's why their houses are all on stilts
@@LindaC616 then they should be used to it and not complaining 🤨
Its heartbreakin alright, but nearly all the homes are built on stilts, that says something doesnt it. We all love where we live, but sometimes you may have to give up retrying just to have more reoccuring heartbreak
The grace and the peace be with you all from the lord your God our Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, thank you! But how many of you know the good news repent and believe in the gospel because the kingdom of heaven is at hand and crack the word the Bible, and may he continue to bless them and not be surprised by their teachings amen! Well there's a reason these houses are on stilts
Now you can clean your house cause she got all that water😂
