Tad can’t even be man enough to look Brooke in the eye! I’ve NEVER been a fan of Tad’s.
When Tad returned she treated Edmund like crap.
To be fair,Edmund treated Brooke pretty bad during his obsession with the Marick bloodline.
victoria Johnson: As a staunch Brooke/Edmund fan, you're right. I think that, while Edmund was truly, truly the man Brooke loved, when Tad 'died', she wasn't over him, and also, she had his baby. Edmund and Brooke were just starting to find their way back to each other at the time. I think that Brooke needed to have that 'closure' with Tad, before she finally could move on full steam ahead with Edmund. But the thing with Edmund and Brooke was that they always had horrible, horrible timing. It was never their time to be together, unfortunately :(
Brooke was acting like a cuckoo. She knew Tad loved Dixie.

Edmund was a jerk when he said that to Brooke.
Brooke realizes everything her and Edmund been through after the man has moved on, she didn’t see that when she married Tad? she didn’t see that then? The funny the minute she saw Edmund moving on with Maria she got burned and jealous what did she expect? She got married to someone else Edmund needs to get on with his life did she think she was gonna spend the rest of his life chasing her come on no one is gonna spend centuries chasing after anybody once they give it their all and they see that every shot they made never worked specially the final that’s when they wake up and realize their time to move on is long over due so they start the healing process
Livia is mad at Tad, but Brooke is lying through her teeth. She told everybody to stay out of her business when she married that cheater. And how many times does Edmund have to tell Brooke I won't lie for her until she gets it. Dang.
Brooke was never Edmund’s, Tad’s, or Jackson’s true love. She was always second fiddle.
vsanchez: Uh...you're wrong about Edmund. If you watch the Edmund/Brooke story from the beginning, you will find that Edmund chose Brooke over and over and over again over Maria. It wasn't until the end, when the writers changed the whole story, that Edmund chose Maria, and it was mostly because Edmund didn't appreciate Brooke trying to pass the baby off as his. This went against everything he was. First, because he found out about his real father when he was an adult, and because he wanted Jamie to be his son, and wanted children with Brooke. But 3 weeks before his wedding to Maria, Edmund was begging Brooke back. She turned him down, for the millionth time.. You don't love someone (Maria) if you're begging your ex back (Brooke) 3 weeks before your wedding. Now I know, Edmund and Maria will go into the history books being 'the loves of each other's lives', but it's because the writers manipulated the story at the end. Until then, it was written as Edmund loved Brooke. Who cares if Tad isn't Brooke's true love, and you're right, Jack and Erica are each other's true loves, But history points a different way with Brooke and Edmund.
not true. Edmund was in love with Brooke from the beginning. It was Maria who was second fiddle. Edmund was engaged to Maria and still asking Brooke to leave Tad for him. She chose Tad. Edmund wouldn't accept her later because when she had the chance, she chose Tad over him. Plus Brooke wasn't truthful or principled during the whole Tad custody thing and Edmund was a stickler for honesty and faithfulness. Something Maria wasn't too good at. Brooke also had Adam. Adam declared so many times that Brooke was his one true love.

She thinks she’s all that in that scene. She had chances with him and didn’t take them. She knew tad loved Dixie and you married him throwing it in her face
Brock married Tad KNOWING his..true love....was NOT her but Tad was just as wrong on every level . Edmond was no saint but if Brock had loved him she would have forgiven him PERIOD . I loved Maria and she and Edmond were great together, not perfect but I loved them together
I rewatched the Tad/Brooke storyline. Tad sure made it convincing that he loved her. Also, I think Adam hurt Brooke so badly, that she really craved security and family. It's evident that Edmund loved Brooke and Jamie with his whole heart, but his behavior before (and during) the Budapest kidnapping was crazy. She wasn't just asking him to stay home for her. She was truly scared he was going to kill Dimitri or hurt Erica. Then he comes back and asks to be instantly forgiven. They needed time to heal and build back their trust but Tad came back and as tammyramey pointed out above, the timing for Brooke and Edmund was always horrible. Ironically I think Brooke was a victim of Julia Barr's success. She was such a damn great actress the writers were always piling on the conflicts.

HATE! I hate the way Brooke and Edmund ended! HATE the way Edmund treated Brooke. Then Edmund married StMaria and became a boring, no sense of humor, unhappy old man, with boring stories.
