I WAS literally waiting for someone to test this combo of DJI Neo and DJI action 2 since it was launched, today I finally found you. I m feeling so blessed to see this because this is the ultimate question for me to buy both of these together.
I so wish they'd put a decent camera in this drone but I guess they're having to crop in so much on the sensor to get stabilization without a 2-axis gimbal that it's subsiquently all upscaled and sharpened to hell and back. Maybe the next itteration will be better.
It seems like those are things they could improve in firmware, maybe only do the extreme cropping when not connected to the FPV Controller 3, or make it something you can toggle on and off like horizon locking in most action cams...but will they bother? I'm guessing the target of this drone are people who've never flown a drone, and social media people who aren't photographers, since I'm sure the video will look fine when uploaded for a youtube short or an Instagram reel, and it's convenient to carry.
@@r1v3r_techne29They just want every non droners to buy and if they got the skills and inability to like the quality of the shot, they would upgrade to better dji. That's a great move imo.
Bro can you let us know how you attached it and what is the flight time after having it. I will be planning to buy both of these for this kind of scenario.
what is the weight of your cam, because I tried with a 70 gram gopro, and the drone goes up and down non-stop, then I tried one with a small 40 gram one and it worked
Great now i just have to wait for the next iteration for them to release a decent upgrade that can be used for youtube. The current camera is ass checks and no i'm not spending more money for another camera to mount on the drone, what is this apple? I'll wait for the next one. First iteration is always just a cash grab to fund the next model anyways. These only cost $28 to produce from the factory lol.
This is just awful, I don't think making it heavier will help anything...It's really not meant for experienced FPV pilots, this is a drone for kids and people who normally only use their phone for filming.
@@alessandrodimartino1872 I mean the thing barely flies under it's own weight, would make more sense to spend the money on a drone like the Flylens or similar that has far better video and a better power:weight ratio
@@alessandrodimartino1872 Yeah, it's similar, I thought about getting a NEO, but as a person who's been flying FPV for a while, and has a Mini 3 pro, and just got a flylens85 I don't see the point.

the battery handled it like a champ. its crazy how small and light the battery is. and with a pavo pico for example ill get 3min flight time..

My avata experiences a noticeable decline in maneuverability with the GoPro attached, so this tiny thing probably can't even carry it.
