I watched a video the other day of Karolina Protsenko the violin prodigy who dances while she plays and has been a street performer in L.A. since she was like 5. She is 14-16 now and got the opportunity to play a multi-million-dollar Stradivarius. What I'm getting at, and I'll send link to that video with this, the tone this violin produced under this girl's touch was one of those experiences that can't be expressed with words. Morissette has such control over her own 'Stradivarius' that the tone along with her ability to control the emotional emphasis of a song is rivaled by none. I feel it is a travesty that everyone hasn't had the extremely wonderful opportunity to hear that voice and what it does with music. I'm sure anyone reading this will go, 'what has this guy been smoking', and I'm fine with that. I think you will understand when you hear the sound that violin makes. The first was with Ferdinand Aragon, a wedding song written for a friend's wedding a few years ago, Mori was looking for a song in Bisaya, her home dialect, and she has worked with Ferdinand before and a few other song writers from Cebu, trying to remember the title, I have it, ANG PAGHUWAT, there's I think 4 versions, there's the studio version with captions, then live on ASAP, plus another TV show, then on the 107.5bus, then enjoy. 😊
