That show how sync they are and trust each other for year of training. But for me, i feel like they can do anything and i would be happy to having fun in concerts. last worl tour they had so many memories and had fun on and off the stage. The need a break and they love to keep being busy and show that they saying "Can't Stop me"
This video very much needed to tell some people why Mina is also the main dancer of Twice. The duty of Main dancer is not just to dance better than others but also to quickly learn choregraphy and memorize and train the other members which is what Mina is doing behind the scene. Momo and Mina are always the 2 main dancers of Twice.❤
@Clearskies3848 She's straight out exposing everything nowadays. First she cleared the rumours stating that Tzuyu is beautiful cuz she done plastic surgeries and now she is explaining why Mina is the main dancer of the group.
Yep. Mina also used to blow the others away technically when Twice was a new group. For some reason, Kpop companies are absolute garbage when it comes to training their dancers in foot placement and lines but Mina was always very good at both thanks to her ballet training. She's gotten more lax over the years but she still has the best technique among the members. Edit: Also, just to be clear, Momo is still the best dancer overall and she has really nice lines but her feet are really messy sometimes and always have been (watch her Paradise Lost dance from Sixteen and any dancer will see exactly what I mean).
@@miadavis4837this comment is the first thing ever on the internet to mention the feet of idols when they're dancing !! I've noticed it as well, I'm not really a dancer but it has taken my attention sometimes. The only times I was really impressed was kazuha (cus obv she points her feet she did professional ballet) and then mina (in female dancers, i dont really stan boy groups much) Just a random theory but it probably has to do with the "idol training" system and evaluation system where progress and quick results are prioritized way more than learning proper technique (?) which is maybe why on survival shows the weaker contestants have skills that are like they pulled pretty ppl from the street and forced them to just dance and dance day and night (which is pretty much how idols describe idol training anyway)
It's true, members tend to pay attention or follow Mina's dance. Remember that Melbourne Encore stage from last year, when Twice sing the song 'Say Something'. 😂 Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, And Nayeon imitated Mina's movements without Mina knowing.
Among the Twice members, J-Line has the best musicality and Mina's is the best among the three so it makes sense if they look at her for the timing. If you want to know who is 'off' in a choreography you can just look at Mina and see who isn't doing it at the exact same time as her. This makes sense because she started as a ballerina and, as a ballerina, you usually perform to live music so you have be able to match your timing to the tempo that the conductor has the band playing at. That's why ballerinas, more than any other type of dancers, tend to have amazing musicality across the board.
Correction:she's not a Ballerina, she just likes to do ballet as a hobby for 10 years and ballet is pretty bad in Japan, the good thing is she has good timing, she's never offbeat at all, while Japan's ballet system is bad, her foundation is solid and her musicality is something, her execution is soft, but I always appreciate the fact Mina's timing is always perfect and she pays attention closely to the beats
@@HPFan4Life81 it's literally a hobby lmao, she admitted that, I can play the guitar for 10 years and still not be good at it because I didn't pursue it seriously, saying that isn't a hobby is an insult to _actual_ ballerinas, it's like saying Yunjin was an opera singer when she isn't
@HPFan4Life81 but she wasn't a ballerina, though. It's a profession that people take ballet aspire to be. Just like how trainee can train to be an idol, but that doesn't mean that they are an idol if the company didn't choose them. Just like how I take dance classes as a hobby for over 10 years, that doesn't equal to me being a dancer teacher.
This is exactly why I think very highly of NewJeans and their choreographer, despite all the legal controversies around them these days. They perform what Mina describes extremely well: each member dances freestyle but the team overall somehow looks synchronized. I believe these are two sets of completely different skills, and it is just that Twice mastered the other end of the skill: highly synchronized team moves. That is why I enjoy both groups, and their different approaches.
I don’t think Mina is in the top 3-5 dancers in Twice (in terms of skill and technique), but I noticed her musicality is almost… perfect! Maybe the best in Twice? (perhaps alongside Momo? I’m not informed enough to make an accurate analysis, this is simply my personal observation). Of course, I don’t think musicality a glaring issue in any of the Twice members, but with her, it feels like “feeling the music” comes naturally. So, I can’t say I’m surprised to hear Jeongyeon say Mina picks up choreo quickly-it’s more of a, “that makes total sense!” kind of impressed, haha. It seems like she understands the intention behind moves and what sound they are attempting to translate, and so she picks up choreo intuitively, and thus, quickly. Of course, I’m sure other factors are at play here, haha, but this was a little thing I noticed. Anyways, I digress, it’s clear she and everyone else in Twice are very, very talented ☺️
Mina feels bad when someone cheating off her exam gets the same question wrong.
That's a great analogy.
exactly! LOL she's too kind.

I like that jeongyeon put it bluntly because many people refused to see this fact

Mina in blonde is so gorgeous
Mina is so gorgeous
From a straight guy point of view she was definitely hotter in the past
@@jonesparza2323 Mina is attractive no matter what era she's in though
Yes she looks like a younger version of Sia
Fr. She looks like a fairy
This is for those who doubt Mina's position as a main dancer.

That explains why Jeongyeon followed Mina's mistake when they were performing their sub unit stage, 1 3 2, on their concert. It's even funnier now
This only shows how much they trust her and what a great team work they have .
I'm so proud of them
You and I have the same bias in TWICE. Beautiful dubu! 🤍
You really clipped this quick :p
It's so funny to think that Mina is dancing and the rest are looking at her as a teacher 😅
1:06 reminds me of that 1,3,2 performance when mina made a mistake then JY followed her 😂
When did this happen? I saw people commenting it on twitter, but i don't remember it
I need to see that one too. Please do share friend

So that explains why Jeongyeon made a mistake on her choreo during their 1, 3, 2 performance since she was relying on Mina. 😅
This shows why they are not the main dancers for nothing
Its just like any great building, one thing falls, everything will soon follow
