Thanks for the review, i learned from another review that this platform doesn't do SEO of your videos i.e videos uploaded on your site won't appear when somebody searches on a search engine, that's quite a downer, is there a work around for that using this service ?
Great Video and application. Not sure, does it still make sense to use prestoplayer with hosting on Bunny or does the Bunny player replace that?
For me the utility of the Bunny player is everything I need, Presto has a few other features but much like LearnDashes "Video Progression" i don't think they really move the needle much for user experience improvement.
Are you able to upload videos to Patreon using this video hosting site?
You should be able to. I don’t think Paterson has any limitations on embeds.
@@dave-swift Could you test this out on patreon? I'm also curious whether or not this works as a lot of streaming video services don't seem to work with patreon.

Thanks Dave! I was trying to figure out why url wold not load/play in Wordpress, but you showed me I need to use the custom HTML 👍 I wish I could center it however, for when I reduce the size on page and adjust the padding as well. Guess I will leave it at 100%.

BTW -- You can put it in a container to center it! I usually use GenerateBlock's container (free version will work fine) over the default block, but both should be able to handle this.

@@dave-swift I tried that, and am not getting any layout option to center the container block....only if I change the container type and then it deforms my video dimensions. Oh well, guess it can be misaligned, but then the padding is off.

Yeah, Bunny has autocaptions now but they're not free.
I use MacWhisper instead. It does transcriptions locally using Open AI's whisper (the only open source thing about Open AI)

Greetings. Thanks for creating this video. I'm interested in the iOS scenario you tested. The text below the MediaCage Basic CRM states that MP4 fallback would be disabled when the CRM was enabled but that MP4 fallback seemingly worked for iOS. Could you provide some clarity or did I miss something? Granted, I haven't watched the full video yet...
I actually noticed that text only while editing the video... I was waiting for someone to comment on it.
I really don't have a good explanation right now. That's the way it worked for me in testing (as you saw in the video). I will message bunny support and find out what they know.
I tested this again and it does work the way I show in the video. I reached out to Bunny for clarity and I'll update here when I know more.

Bunny says this is a bug and it will be fixed. They also think that their DRM should work just fine on iOS after the bug is fixed.

I have tryed the free trial and everything looks cool, only the security DRM feature.. Which means I could record and take screenshots of my courses on my own website, although I have activated the feature but it's still the same

The DRM stops downloads.
Bunny is expensive, but of course there is not a word about this in the video.

I still use Bunny. It's been great overall! Some small quirks you get used to quickly.

Yes, I think it’s a good option. The cost will depend on how many storage regions you use as well as how many site visitors you have. If you have low traffic when you launch it will cost next to nothing.

Bunny has a limited set of services, unfortunately. You can’t buy all the necessary things from them (

You have to enable the resolutions you want the video to play in. The settings are found in. Stream > Your Library > Encoding.
Right now all the resolutions are 16:9 but if you want 9:16, let Bunny support know!

Bunny says this is a bug, and that soon their DRM will work with iOS! So I guess we wait :)

I wouldn't ever use an LTD for hosting business critical material. Pay for what you use. Your videos stay online and the company stays in business.
LTDs are great for small utilities or self hosted software (where you're paying the electrical bill).

bunny video proccessing take for ever .not recomended
Consider running your video through a compression tool like handbrake before uploading, this will reduce the storage space required and make transcoding easier.
You can improve things further by limiting the number of resolution options you choose. For example, limit the output to 720p, 1080p and 4k.

@@dave-swift did host videos on B2 backblaze but still strugling with the cdn >as i see cloudflare have new R2 that can be connected to backblaze .but no seup videos yet
