Bboy Rocket is so fresh...
Gamblerz must have power sessions everyday lol
Gamblerz >>> Lionz of Zion
I love napalm. he's so calm but deadly
Yea I agree with you morning of owl and gamblerz have been doing that for a while. And rocket used to be in morning of owl so it makes sense.
Both win and mad respect for the crews and the judges
Ahhhhhhh "Just cause Gamblerz been around more" Gamblers started in 2002, LOZ started in 1996...
Nice battle!, in my opinion gamblerz crew won in tricks but Lion of Zionz danced more~
I love LoZ and Gamblerz both, but Gamblerz took it for me.
I would've chosen Lions of Zion too.. Isaiah is just amazing..
I love how on youtube power always wins as if musicality doesn't matter. Anyone can get good enough to bust power moves, but when you work the beat that is what's really impressive.
P.S. The Hand hops weren't even close to being on beat.
Either way good battle.
Didn't see the previous battle of Gamblerz...so I don't know if they repeated or something...but this was clearly for them....props to both tho'! Dope battle
At 4:14, now that's a Bboy Trust-Building Exercise!!!!!!!!!
I'm getting frustrated watching Gamblerz battles now. Am I the only one that notices their "formula" for crew battles? It's the same as Extreme crew:
- Overload of commandos to 'win' rounds
- Everyone is in some way a power head with risky premeditated sets
- ONE or TWO "footwork" guys for insurance, but are cheesy and mediocre at best.
- That last 'save the world' commando in case they're fucked.
What ever happened to practicing musicality and fundamentals? They're never gonna win like this.
Power moves that are done with style looks so badass!!!
this was a close battle but lion of zions should have tooken it, because they we're more clean and original with there moves and set, but big fan of gamblerz respect to both crews :)
I saw a video of the same person in this video trying to do this move at 4:23 before 2004. It wasn't as clean though and it looked he kinda crashed but yea , before 2004. And it was before bboy rocket (person doing said move) was in gamblerz he was still in morning of owl.
Some time ago a rock and roll became a sports dance and joined the Olympic games. Won it from the dance? I do not like acrobatic rock and roll. When the Koreans and the French achieve that BBoing will enter the dance and part of Olympic games , I will congratulate them on this achievement, but I'll watch a dance competitions, not an Olympic gymnastics. So, Respect to Lionz of Zion!!! Keep your Style!!! (sorry for my bad english)
LoZ.
Isaiah's first set killed it.
Love Rockets creativity.
I agree with Chi. Gamblerz were creative but they weren't as clean when they performed their group sets. Lions were pretty clean as far as i can see overall. Bboy kill is Ipretty good though, he does some of the most difficult moves ever yet I've seen him mess up only a few times.
lionx of zion off course more style more originality and more clean !!!
gamblerz for sure ... but lions of zions even did there best .. respect :)
I don't care who won. that was a great battle!
Falling out of an airchair the way kill did is crashing, not only do you want to go into a freeze correctly, you want to get out of it without much problem. and even if the second routine of gamblerz was good, the first one had several mistakes. rocket loses his balance after his flip, kill loses balance in thefreeze and rocket has to help him up and cut short his foto thing with his hands, kill loses his thread in his hand hops in the beginning.
LOZ obviously won. I mean Gamberz was flashy and they caught the crowd...but Lion of Zion had all elements of breaking. They were way more creative too. Gamberz just use sets and moves theyve been using for years now. Same moves i've been seeing for a while.
The only reason I could see Gamblerz winning this is because Napalm's last set was rather short, though it was still powerful and clean. But all the comments are true. Both sides played with the music, and both threw routines. Both sides difficulty were incredibly high. Both crews are super dope and deserve everything they have but Lionz of Zion were slightly cleaner, and at this level of competition and skill, being clean is everything.
I agree with everything but the last 2 statements. LOZ didnt get smoked, they held their own really well and overall I think were more clean. but yeah Gamblerz took routines and they were a lot more dynamic. You could tell LOZ was worried too cause Isaiah used his best moves in this match
Rocket was from Morning of Owl, thats why he brings that to Gamblerz
I believe rocket was doing that with Morning of Owl quite a while ago.
So much bias. As much as I like Gamblerz more than LoZ, they lost. They weren't clean. Gamblerz crashed and/or messed up several times throughout the battle. Sure, if they hit everything, they would have won, but they didn't. You don't get points for trying. You get points for doing.
Basically it`s style vs power. But you have to fucking admit that bboy kill`s first run was fucking sick.
i cant believe the level of dopness gambler bboys has reached both crews burned the floor with some new moves
What a compelling reply.
Here I go, hoppin into my little airplane, on my way to Korea. Gonna go battle them because some kid on youtube suggested it!
I'm pointing out why they lost, LOZ was original, on point with the music, and fresh as hell, besides being clean.
Never even heard of LoZ and i'm a gamblerz fan, but LoZ took this. Isiah was sick as fuck man. His style is just so dope and I love his top rock. Definitely hope to see more of him in 'larger events' like IBE or Red bull.
WOW IT'S EASY TO SEE HOW PEOPLE CAN GET SO EXCITED AFTER SUCH A GREAT BATTLE !
Gambler is the winner!!!
That's what they have shown in battle
finally judges who appreciate creative footwork
Rocket's style is just so fresh...
Great Battle !!!
Can someone tell me more about Battle Cry ???
I heard that the Organisator submerged and that he left the whole Event without paying someone (DJ'S , Judges etc) and that the whole international bboys stucked in Germany cause no one bring them to the Air port or something :/
Felt like gamblerz got this on the team dynamic and a weak last round from loz. Nasty battle though, both crews are sick.
LOZ danced with the music, which is what took it, imo. Gamblerz had some nice technique but hardly any flow with the music. You could have turned off the track and it wouldn't have changed a thing. LOZ kept that same technicality while still dancing.
damn domkey changed his style completely. he mustve have taken that redbull loss hard
MUITO LEGAL ESSE VIDEO
EU SOU FAN DO B BOY KILL
Dope battle, felt it could have easily gone either way. Congrats to LoZ for taking that
oh and this was also posted like 4 months before his loss at red bull
Gamblerz had some nice routines dang. They go way back too.
@Ruangprai Limsuwansiri That's bboy Isaiah.
gotta lov bboy rocket!
Gamblerz! power heads for life
isaiah's style unique he needs to be in the next bc one.
Why are people saying Gamblerz should win? That crash on the air track towards the end, sealed the deal. LOZ we're cleaner.
both sides were clean, just one side had routines/solos and their solo difficulty level was on a much higher level... should have been an easy decision, yet they lost???? oh well no judges decision surprises me these days...
I thought Gamblerz took the battle with the last routine, but it was a really tight battle.
the judges prolly juts thought gamblerz were overusing routines
Just because someone might be a dope bboy, it doesn't mean that they are a good judge. Some might be incredibly biased or just might remember the first or last 30 seconds.
I don't see why everyone is so surprised..They both repped hard, but i go with LOZ on this one.
where was this battle at?
Uh, I have 2 videos that I have on my list and those were WAYYY back in like 07 or so. My favorite bboy is actually Born, believe it or not, and I appreciate all sorts of styles.
Like I said, I don't follow bboying as much as I used to, so yeah i guess you can say i've been out of the scene. Doesn't mean i still don't like it.
LOZ finished stronger because they barely did anything. They did a drop, then isiah put his leg behind his head and napalm stepped on his foot X 2 and then pushed him. You also can't really tell if kill moving to the side is a mistake from this angle. LOZ routine didn't really have enough in it. Isiah's set was the better thing that round, not the routine.
when someone does a routine, the bboy that goes out to finish it is part of the routine, if that bboy makes a mistake or crashes, it is included as a mess up in the routine. If it isnt considered part of the routine, that means that one side just did two rounds consecutively without any response from the other crew. i dont see any other crew doin LOZs routine, or anything similar. Many bboys can do flips, thread hand hops and balance on their hand in a routine, they better flow good though.
rocket has used this routine with morning of owl since 2006
LOZ all the way!
WHAT TIME?
luv u both nice battle
What's the name of the first song of the battle
LOZ finished stronger in their routine compared to gamblerz. they flowed better in their routine, no mistakes, creative, and smooth. i just saw also that after rockets flip, kill had to readjust himself to go under rockets legs. even if it isnt horrible mistakes, they didnt flow as nicely compared to LOZ. gamberz second routine was nice ill give ya that
what's the name of last song?
DJ JEBEL - Raw Circles(2012)Breakbeat
i was really feeling LoZ on that one! Good job to both crews tho!
I liked Isaiah better then Kill I prefer musicality over power, Napalm and Rocket were a tie first round but I'd say Rocket easily took 2nd round. Gamblerz killed it with the routines, so I'd say Gamblerz took it.
this was a gd battle GAMBLERZ bringing back the old routines with a nice twist to it ;D sic!!!
what is the song 4 50??
Gamblerz were dope!
i just don't like it when men do a full split unless there stretching out. Good battle though. I would have made them do a tie breaker but only popping allowed.
Why does Kill have nothing but Airchairs? You would think by now he'd learn a six-step or something.
crazy bboy rocket is dope
bboy isnt all about music did everyone forget that? its part of breaking but it isnt breaking power vs style? power moves takes years to master! style takes years to gewt you flo going but once you get it its easy on the on other hand power moves are limited which makes it more unique like bboy kill. think about it if there werent power heads there wouldnt be a bboy in the media and if it wassnt for style our dance also couldnt capture the eyes of millions
so very good dance
wut the hell.. skill wise gamblerz was untouchable. sad to see them loose here.
4.18 biteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! East side bboys!!!!!!!
both were good. I was rooting for Lionz, but I kind of think gamblerz took this one
damn lion of zion. their moves are really clean.. impressive
i don't think wearing glasses is the best thing for rolling your face around on the floor
Where was the battle?
daaayyuuum , kill is getting cleaner
@Sanders Ean amen tothat
thank you!
are people blind to crashes/mess ups now?
Mexican jumping beans BATMAN !!!!!! THAT MAY HAVE BEEN MY FAVORITE BATTLE !!!!!!
Domkey wasn't in this battle man... but yeah LOZ is on fire. so were Isaiah and Napalm in this battle
i think gambler took this one. but im not sure. its a battle that i cannot clearly say who one.
Then you better start believing.
We both share the impatience to kickstart this one-sided argument.
I've never compared Kill to Isaiah, but I did point out how his choice of style is not in any way better than Kill's. Any other comparison would be wrong indeed.
I thought LIONZ OF ZION deserved the win until I saw their last set.
Gamblerz always has nice team moves and powermoves combo =)
I LIKE ROCKET BETTER IN MORNIN OF OWL... THAT WAS A AWESOME GROUP. I WONDER WHY HE LEFT.
LOZ def. took that. Way cleaner, more original, better dancing overall.
I'd be more inclined to lean torwards Gamblerz if Kill would actually try toprocking and downrocking during his sets. You can't win if you're not complete.
Good job lion of zion
and im not a LOZ fan, i respect both LOZ and Gamblerz, but one thing is to respect a crew, another is to question the judges decision and to say, Gamblerz won, Gamblerz winner, judges blind etc etc in the comments. respect to both crews, but LOZ had this one. If no one wants to see it by the mistakes, then they should know by the dancing.
