Noting that we didn't see their top, it is possible to theorise that they go up to the Sky Islands. 4. In Dressrosa when Luffy reunited with Bellamy, Bellamy told Luffy that after being defeated by him he went to see the sky islands for himself. The immediate next question Luffy asked was, "You didn't do anything to them, did you" and Bellamy replied, "Well, I don't know". That was a bit strange to me as it felt like the story was implying that something did happen to them and Luffy might go back to check on on them. But that plot point was just forgotten as it was never addressed after that. It is a possibility that we are gonna go back to Skypia and then understand what Bellamy was talking about there... 5. (iv) Noland did great things but got absolutely zero glory while Usopp does a fraction of the work and gets deemed as a God. (v) Usopp even lied that he is related to Noland which basically proves that it is the truth because Usopp's every lie comes out to be true. (vi) Noland is basically the great warrior that Usopp wants to be. I think that these similarities or differences in character if you might say are really interesting and shows how things are related and also that stuff coming back isn't that hard. 6. In the cover story of manga chapters, we learned that Enel after being defeated by Luffy went to the moon and conquered it. Usopp would be perfect for a David vs Goliath scenario. Maybe Usopp will fight Loki similar how he fought Luffy with weird tricks. Or Oda could also go the Foxy vs Luffy route, although Loki did not let himself get tricked by the Lola/Shiffon ploy so it's probably a more serious fight.
Franky is unfortunately the least popular strawhat so that could be why he didn’t get a shining moment like we expected although we did finally get to see him proclaim the mighty power of cola to Vegapunk so it could be that he still will get a power up that will be revealed in the next arc. He could also share his moment with Robin as while he has been demoted from SH dad to dirty grandma there is still a connection that they share when it comes to dangerous knowledge.
We all expect him to have something with the ship, we were just kinda hoping he would get a more personal power up. Like the “Green Cola Power-ups” idea, which harkens back to Franky’s earlier fight while also carrying on different brawling styles and abilities from past fights.
im really hoping vivi returns with a logia df. she might not be best in fighting but she can be a great support. we can also have her revealed to be trained by pell and chaka
can i just say that GLR's hair is perfect in every video 🤣 its like a crown he wears during video production and place it on the fridge once he's done using it, like how Imu preserves the Giant Strawhat on his/her fridge haha
For some reason, I've always imagined that Elbaf is like, in the sky, or, like the Dark Continent on Hunter X Hunter. Like, it just seems like an entire society of giants would need a whole lot of land ti live on with hoe big they are, however, they're isolated, the government doesn't like them, but the government also hasn't attacked them. Elbaf has to be located somewhere super strange. I just cant imagine it being a random island somewhere as per usual.
Well a theory from Parvision that I saw not to long ago was that Tom may also be on Elbaf, since we had never seen him die. So for me as a fan of Franky I do hope this theory is true, it also helps with the idea of the Road Poneglyph being moved by a fishman to protect it. I mean I like the theory and would love to see how Tom would react to the Sunny.
about the fight between Luffy and another giant if you noticed on onigashima Kaido in his dragon form is actually much larger than the number giants which are said to be as big as oars from thriller bark and luffys giant form was as big as kaido so instead of a fight with a regular giant what if Luffy fights a very big giant like the skull on onigashima big giant because the island onigashima itself was teased but not explained so there might be a giant as big as that in elbaf and Luffy might has to fight it, imagine how epic the fight will be
Franky has already been important in Egghead, but not in the way we thought. He has given Vegapunk the info that he uses cola as fuel for something as powerful as the Sunny burst. I bet the old man is going to put that info to use, maybe with the giant robot.
If the arcs post-timeskip mirror those pre-timeskip, then Egghead's "let's go to Elbaf" mirrors Sabaody "let's go to the mermaids" = an interrupted trip!
I feel like with elbaf, the focus is going to be on Usopp, obviously because of being friends with some of the giants, Robin because of Saul (most likely being there). So like semi-mirroring enies lobby and water 7 but this time the main focus is on usopp with the giants as well as the very important side quest is about robin and ohara instead of the other way around.
Something about elbaf makes me feel like there's a solid chance there's no traditional save the kingdom arc at all. Between the entirety of the library of ohara, Saul, dori and braggi, shanks stuff, maybe big mom stuff, etc. It's very much more likely that the antagonist is an external force entirely
Elbaf will be Usopp’s time to shine in all of his long nosed glory. Not only will we see Gerd and the new giant pirates helping Luffy fight against Loki but also I predict we will finally see Don Krieg again and find out what happened to him, I hope.
@@bootywarrior6845I don’t remember him in a cover story. The last I saw him was his defeat at Baratie. I always wondered what happened to him and it would be cool to see him on Elbaf and Luffy forgetting who he is.
I wonder if Giants accept their brethren choosing to become Devil Fruit users. Hajrudin competed at Dressrossa for the Flame-Flame Fruit to claim and consume it for his ambition to become ruler of Giants. And if he ate it, he'd be a nod to Surtur the Flame Giant from Norse mythology.
Maybe 'Prince Loki' is actually a title. It would be hilarious to see Usopp become the new Prince Loki, and actually quite in line with his title as God.
Or the king could be Fárbauti, the Jotun (frost giant) that is Loki's birth father. Or we might be thinking of the wrong Loki. The prince could be based on Utgard-Loki, and the King could be Skrymir (who is technically Utgard-Loki in disguise but this homage so who cares.)
The reunion between Luffy and Shanks draws near as the Red Hair Pirates are at Elbaf and apparently they placed that nation under their protection and allied with the Giants there. And that Big Mom is salty that some former cabin boy of Roger gained an alliance with the Giants compared to her.
i think we mixed the conflicts up here. I believe it will be Usopp vs. Loki in a comedic battle for supremacy over the Giants while Luffy and crew are off to the side. Usopp has already been dubbed a "king/god" by the giants which will not go over well with the mischevious prince who is in line to take over. Jealousy will ensue and will be the internal conflict happening while other external forces are threating outside.
I think elbaf is the arc dedicated to robin & usopp 😁 robin meets Saul, Saul being proud of her finding new friends who dare to fight even the WG for her, usopp going to become brave warrior of sea & possibly even unlocking haoshoku haki ❤️
@@lycozur better stop reading now as its very much implied that every OG strawhat will be a conquerors haki user. we already have zoro + sanji and nami (though alot of people discard it as a joke... yeah as if Oda would make something that huge of a deal a joke). It also makes alot of sense as each of the OGs have a big dream they want to fulfill. and beeing "a brave warrior of the seas" can easily be enough for conquerors to manifest.
I believe Oda may take inspiration from norse mythology and somehow adapt ragnarok, which would not mean the end of the world, but maybe just of Elbaf I can easily see Loki having a mythical zoan fruit Jormungandr or Fenrir, and trying to kill a giant named Odin or Thor. What I hope is that somehow it's gonna be Usopp to make the difference, at this point in the story Luffy is a powerhouse and needs other powerhouses to make a fight interesting, and I don't know if even giants have someone of that caliber. However Usopp being the one to defeat Loki may be nice, as for Luffy give him something else to do, maybe with Shanks or something idk
At this point I Hope per Fenrir because in the previous arcs we had already our good dose of mythical serpent likes fruits... The same Is true also for the canines mythical zoans but at least those were not too much central for the plot
Franky still has time to get upgrades and a power up by Vega Punk via the TRIP to ELBAF. Usopp is probably gonna get a power up in ELBAF itself so yea it's gonna be pretty hype.
Did the previous Joyboy need to be a giant? Luffy's strawhat is shown growing with him when he was a gear 5th giant, and it could just be a "the effects of this devil froot can last even after the users death" thing.
Id love to see usopp achieve his dream on elbaf and have the giants want him to stay and lead 8,000 men but he says he can’t yet because he has to finish helping luffy reach his dream. It would be like an inversion of what happened on water 7 with usopp
I have a feeling that skypiea was once part of elbaf. Giant Jack was there before the jaya chunk came into the picture and they specifically explain that sky island clouds can sustain plant life but it cant cultivate it meaning giant jack grew somewhere else. And i mean its a reference to jack and the giant beanstalk which involves giants in the story.
I think the giant tree on elbaf is tall enough to counter Imus super weapon and some fight ends up happening in the canopy against the super weapon. Also mayhaps Enel returns in that sky fight fest?
Elbaf is going to be a great big arc. It’s been talked about in one piece for years even more than Wano. There’s too much stuff that’s gonna happen with Elbaf
IT’S FINALLY HERE I’m so exited to see some ussop-action. Recently, he has slipped into the background, but I find he is a great character and think he has a lot of potential.
Franky is still so important to the crew because of the sunny and pluton. And Vegapunk SHOULD be going with the crew to Elbaf. I believe Franky will still have development in this arc.
One could only wonder what Luffy & Zoro would do to make Nami angry in this thumbnail. But I can definitely see her and Zoro holding their own drinking Elbaf liquor.
I heard oda had planned 5 years max when first starting out and learned he could do more so all the non finish and the same ending is why all the old players are coming back.
Video Idea: Explain why Zunesha could be Nefertari D. Lili, Imu's Identity and what fruit/Ancient weapon allowed Imu to turn Lili into a colossal giant to roam the Oceans for 800 years (I won't get deep into the explanations on any of these but it's pretty obv once u think about it rlly)
I disagree with a lot of crazy endgame stuff happening on Elbaf -- maybe the whole Shanks reunion, but otherwise I very strongly believer it's going to be our final Dressrosa/Wano style massive 'classic One Piece isolated storyline' island and that the endgame stuff has two definite stops to happen at afterwards -- Lodestar and of course Laugh Tale
Well based on the last several chapters when we saw Kid came to Elbaf we seen several of original Giant Pirates along with several citizen from that kingdom looked like happy people and with Shanks, so i think Loki COULD likely be a goofy ally king who COULD be in a slump since Lola dumped him 2 years ago OR he founded a wife who accepts his love to become his wife and the original Giant Pirates might of told Loki about the Straw hats that will come to Elbaf since Ussop saved 4 of the original Giant Pirates in the pre timeskip.
What if the Strawhats don't actually fight the giants, but have to win a contest of Boasts with them? The giants of Elbaf are very obviously based on the Norse and they absolutely loved Boasts and contests of skill. There could be an eating contest for Luffy, a contest of strength for Jimbei, a drinking challenge for Zoro, storytelling for Usopp, a musical contest for Brook, shipbuilding for Frankie, cooking for Sanji, though I'm not sure what the contests of skill would be for Robin, Chopper and Nami.
Theories about Elbaf: 1) Luffy's Nika transformation is going to be really important for the giants since there was mention of the Elbaf villagers believing that Big Mom summoned the Sun God when she destroyed their village. 2) I wonder if the actually worshipped god "Elbaf" is connected to the void century Joyboy, given the big straw hat that Imu had. 3) That being said, I know void century Joyboy is sometimes theorized to be a giant, but it would be fascinating if Nika and Elbaf the God were one and the same.
I’m thinking that the prince guy isn’t just loki, it may be Útgarða-Loki who is a giant in norse mythology and he rules a castle in the land of the giants, albeit the outskirts. Útgarða-Loki isn’t as much of a trickster, but he is very devious.
Elbaf is imminent, and all of us are excited. I really hope to see Prince Loki, in some highly active NPC role, and I also hope to see Hajrudin at the very least again. Bye bye, Egg Head Island, hello land of Giants!
I wonder if Nico Olvia will be there in Elbaf with Saul along with maybe a couple of other Ohara scholars. And I kinda have the feeling that it will be revealed that she, and by extension Robin, are also part of the D-clan. I dont know, I just have the feeling it might be the case.
I feel the ohara scholars are dead dead, it would give the fact Saul is still alive that much more weight being the absolute last ally/friend (barring kuzan) she has from her childhood
Franky bingo card was just us being HYPE but oh well lol. Was a great little moment thinking hed get alot of shine and maybe he still has potential in egghead
I am very disappointed that there is no mention of elbaf being big mom's time to shine. I predict that she will be making a comeback in that arc and all of her backstory and weird instances of kindness will pay off.
@saru7216 as she said, you better not believe that's enough to kill her! Her status as yonko is gone but big mom is very alive, she will reappear at some point. I strongly believe that her story is not over.
I'm mindblown by how often people in the community still talk about Usopp's army as if it hasn't already happened when the Straw Hats (yes, him included) actually got a Grand Fleet to command. The Mjölnir thing seems kinda fun and plausible though, it would be hilarious if he of all people were able to wield a legendary hammer considering how often he has fooled enemies with his fake hammers (not to mention "Usopp hammer" before he started to build fake weapons). And if Oda is gonna create a internal strife within Elbaf on a "end of their culture" level he might take inspiration of the christening of Scandinavia and the vikings.
my question is. does it have to be an antagonist on Elbaf? would be nice to see them just on an adventure to get to know the giants and make em a part of the strawhats
1:44 well luffy can't actually meet him there since the crew gets wiped at thriller bark thanks to perona. Edit: damn 3:22 is straight misinformation. Big mom did not offer chiffon instead of Lola, she straight up tried to trick loki into thinking chiffon WAS Lola to get him married to a daughter of hers. After loki found out he was pissed (as I feel anyone would justifiably be if their wife was replaced right before the wedding).
I've got a theory for you about the Drums of Liberation. I found the Drums of liberation music was unfitting and tame of the return of a 800 year old missing Sun God. But I believe this is a direct connection to Luffy's inability to sing. I back this theory up by the fact that Oda himself choose this music for the introduction to the Sun God Nikka. I think once Luffy has mastered gear 5 the music will elevate into something truly EPIC.
I can see Buggy making a deal with Loki to get a jump on both the Straw Hats and the Navy after both sides have strained their resources from the siege on Egghead Island.
Something I keep saying about Elbaf: I’m betting we’ll get a Noland reference bc he’s an important dramatic foil for Usopp and has shown up in all places where One Piece takes inspiration from Gullivers Travels. Something I just thought of though is HOW we could see this Noland reference: TREES. There’s a lot of ancient, important trees in one piece (Adam, eve, Ohara) and I think a big ole tree on Elbaf could be where we see Noland the Liar get a final mention, connecting to world lore and/or Usopp’s character arc (*edit: forgot to mention why I think the Noland reference would tie to trees is bc of his role as a botanist, something that often gets overlooked)
Something just accrued to me in the most "DON!" kinda of way: Oda has always stated that he was saving the Eye patch for a special character, So I'm thinking it might be Odin (the possible king of Elbath) because, in Norse myth, Odin was known to have lost his eye in the pursuit of knowledge and Truth.
when youve been watching liam for years on his HxH other channel then decide to start watching one piece lol! this channel is a gold mine just waiting for me to finish the series (altho i did check his east blue video once i got to alabasta, I couldnt resist not listening to liams thoughts haha)
I think we'll definitely see some more Franky moments in Elbaph. I already see it with the most recent Franky-Vegpunk interaction in 1090. Just the presence of the Stella alone is enough to make Franky nerd out.
Albeit a part of me feels like just saying that they're going to Elbaf now is easier said than done (cause right now I feel like things are going to easy right now). Even if we do here's to hoping that the Red Hairs still aren't on Elbaf or the SHs will enter a predicament like the Kid Pirates going into (I guess the) Red Hair territory of Elbaf. Plus I guess it turns out due to showing that since the Log Pose has calibrated that Egghead wasn't the exact island they were supposed to be going to

im really hoping vivi returns with a logia df. she might not be best in fighting but she can be a great support. we can also have her revealed to be trained by pell and chaka
trained by Sabo too
imo vivi will have kuma's fruit.
@@mariocontiki why?
Franky building a Kaiju/giant Mecha/gundam is something I really wanna see.
Sure it’s been said a thousand times but i love how Usopp is the character most tied to Elbaf, which is just fable spelled backwards
can i just say that GLR's hair is perfect in every video 🤣 its like a crown he wears during video production and place it on the fridge once he's done using it, like how Imu preserves the Giant Strawhat on his/her fridge haha
Time for GOD ussop to shine 😤
Oda really said OK I guess sense I've been teasing it for what 20 years now might as well give it to them
I feel like with elbaf, the focus is going to be on Usopp, obviously because of being friends with some of the giants, Robin because of Saul (most likely being there).
I really don't think we are going to have a monarch named "Odin" right after having a shogun named "Oden" being a major character of the last arc...
In Japanese they’re like “おでん(Oden)” and “オーディン(Odin)“. Not even similar.
Then another name for odin woden
To add to the confusion. "Oden" is how we correctly spell "Odin" here in Scandinavia, haha!
Elbaf will be Usopp’s time to shine in all of his long nosed glory. Not only will we see Gerd and the new giant pirates helping Luffy fight against Loki but also I predict we will finally see Don Krieg again and find out what happened to him, I hope.
When was the last time krieg was shown? Was he in a cover story at some point?
@@bootywarrior6845I don’t remember him in a cover story. The last I saw him was his defeat at Baratie. I always wondered what happened to him and it would be cool to see him on Elbaf and Luffy forgetting who he is.
would be fun if they already sees him as a hero and they find a statue of him there. I already picture the reaction of the crew.😂
I'm not the only one who reacted like luffy and usop to the elbaf news right?
Not at all.
Elbaff is going to be a relaxed ark with tension between Luffy and Shanks after partying
I think elbaf is the arc dedicated to robin & usopp 😁 robin meets Saul, Saul being proud of her finding new friends who dare to fight even the WG for her, usopp going to become brave warrior of sea & possibly even unlocking haoshoku haki ❤️
hands down, if usopp of all people gets conquerors, i will stop reading this series, and im around for 16years now xD
Saúl is super dead im sorry
im not sure, but i think it was confirmed hes alive and brought all the books of ohara to elbaf - or am i mistaken?@@mpmcd8432
@@mpmcd8432Saul was implied to still be alive
@@lycozur better stop reading now as its very much implied that every OG strawhat will be a conquerors haki user. we already have zoro + sanji and nami (though alot of people discard it as a joke... yeah as if Oda would make something that huge of a deal a joke). It also makes alot of sense as each of the OGs have a big dream they want to fulfill. and beeing "a brave warrior of the seas" can easily be enough for conquerors to manifest.
I believe Oda may take inspiration from norse mythology and somehow adapt ragnarok, which would not mean the end of the world, but maybe just of Elbaf
I can easily see Loki having a mythical zoan fruit Jormungandr or Fenrir, and trying to kill a giant named Odin or Thor.
Or maybe he has Mistletoe fruit
At this point I Hope per Fenrir because in the previous arcs we had already our good dose of mythical serpent likes fruits... The same Is true also for the canines mythical zoans but at least those were not too much central for the plot
Franky still has time to get upgrades and a power up by Vega Punk via the TRIP to ELBAF. Usopp is probably gonna get a power up in ELBAF itself so yea it's gonna be pretty hype.
i love your videos keep up the good work
I almost died when I saw Saul reading The Complying Wench 😂
Did the previous Joyboy need to be a giant? Luffy's strawhat is shown growing with him when he was a gear 5th giant, and it could just be a "the effects of this devil froot can last even after the users death" thing.
thtas a great idea especially considering how special zoan fruits are in terms of personality, especially special zoans
We need to see that God Valley flashback cmon
If party is split and the top tier fighters are not there due to results of Egghead, our antagonists will not have to be Kaidos.
10:38 You totally got me with the Ancient Zoans Beast Pirates on Little Garden xD
as a big usopp fan, i am excited for this arc
I’m also excited to see robin and Saul reunite I might cry 😭
Maybe there isn´t a conflict on the island, but Luffy BRINGS the conflict to them. They are being chased by the WG at the moment, so would make sense.
IT’S FINALLY HERE
I’m so exited to see some ussop-action. Recently, he has slipped into the background, but I find he is a great character and think he has a lot of potential.
Franky is still so important to the crew because of the sunny and pluton. And Vegapunk SHOULD be going with the crew to Elbaf. I believe Franky will still have development in this arc.
He will definitely turn sunny into a giant robo mecha 😂
@@user-ee7nc8bi4nwe kind of expected something like that since thriller bark arc though. Kinda hoping for something else before then.
One could only wonder what Luffy & Zoro would do to make Nami angry in this thumbnail. But I can definitely see her and Zoro holding their own drinking Elbaf liquor.
I really wanted Franky to upgrade his body. I hope he still does.
imagine if we find out that joyboy wasn't a giant and that he died while in his giant form (like luffy in gear 5) which made his hat stay giant
I think elbaf will have a beanstalk plot line or landmark. One that goes all the way to sky islands
“Til we get to the climax of the series”
5 more years, lads
What if the Strawhats don't actually fight the giants, but have to win a contest of Boasts with them? The giants of Elbaf are very obviously based on the Norse and they absolutely loved Boasts and contests of skill. There could be an eating contest for Luffy, a contest of strength for Jimbei, a drinking challenge for Zoro, storytelling for Usopp, a musical contest for Brook, shipbuilding for Frankie, cooking for Sanji, though I'm not sure what the contests of skill would be for Robin, Chopper and Nami.
Definitely mapmaking for nami and maybe a doctoring competition for chopper and idk about robin
@@Infinexvity She'd probably be busy looking for the poneglyph.
Theories about Elbaf:
1) Luffy's Nika transformation is going to be really important for the giants since there was mention of the Elbaf villagers believing that Big Mom summoned the Sun God when she destroyed their village.
Don't think Elbaf will be anytime soon. Remember the crew were heading to fishman island when they left water 7 and got there 5 arcs later.
I love how you are just like half and half animator and just talking
Oda has also kinda been building up loadstar. That's also an Island we need to get to on the way that we haven't seen yet
I thought lodestar was where roger learned about the road poneglyphs. Since the straw hats already know about them, do they really need to go there?
4:41
This is outta pocket but i love it 😂😂😂
On the opposite, I think Loki will be handsome. And everyone will question why Lola rejected him lol
Knowing lola she proably dint think they gell or she dint wanne marry someone moma picked
Redhairs vs Strawhats Davy Back fight, but instead of some climactic Luffy vs Shanks fight, it's a lying contest between Loki and Ussop
I'll be ecstatic if Sogeking comes back!!
4:41 oh hell nah i was taking a sip of coffee when this popped up
I am very disappointed that there is no mention of elbaf being big mom's time to shine. I predict that she will be making a comeback in that arc and all of her backstory and weird instances of kindness will pay off.
her corpse is swimming in magma
It is known Elbaf is fablE backwards but sincerely I'd love nothing more than the giants of Elbaf to actually be Spanish, the giants of El Baf
my question is. does it have to be an antagonist on Elbaf? would be nice to see them just on an adventure to get to know the giants and make em a part of the strawhats
This is the kind of content I genuinely enjoy, thanks for your efforts!❤
I've got a theory for you about the Drums of Liberation. I found the Drums of liberation music was unfitting and tame of the return of a 800 year old missing Sun God. But I believe this is a direct connection to Luffy's inability to sing. I back this theory up by the fact that Oda himself choose this music for the introduction to the Sun God Nikka. I think once Luffy has mastered gear 5 the music will elevate into something truly EPIC.
I absolutely love the fact that Saul is reading "the complying wench" 😂
I can see Buggy making a deal with Loki to get a jump on both the Straw Hats and the Navy after both sides have strained their resources from the siege on Egghead Island.
Buggy wouldn’t do that to his friend.
There’s a lot of ancient, important trees in one piece (Adam, eve, Ohara) and I think a big ole tree on Elbaf could be where we see Noland the Liar get a final mention, connecting to world lore and/or Usopp’s character arc
(*edit: forgot to mention why I think the Noland reference would tie to trees is bc of his role as a botanist, something that often gets overlooked)
We're getting close Nami having drawn a whopping third of the World Map!
LOL I love the cameo by "The Complying Wench".
I think frankys time to shine will probably be when he builds pluton since he still has memory of the blueprints
Plus I guess it turns out due to showing that since the Log Pose has calibrated that Egghead wasn't the exact island they were supposed to be going to
"In a method best described as somehow" is on of the phrases that best describe most anime.
Huh… is that Jack The Drought with sunglasses on a lawn mower? 4:03
Neat 🌿👨🏼🌾🌾
Sorry, but I just can’t get over the part where Jack is riding a lawnmower. That was great 🤣🤣🤣
Mate ive been loving your channels for years and i hope one piece reins strong for another decade so i can enjoy that plus your content for years to come .
I doubt it, but Gungier is a spear that when thrown, never misses. Pretty good sniper weapon I think.
