sally is a total LEGEND
Press 4 for "here's yar wartare"
HAHAHA
SHSHSJSHS
Sally can knock on my door any day
It would seem (and I'd need to see the full manual to confirm) that the override does not work if the toggle is moved to the lock mode - which then locks the door completely for 5 minutes. So theoretically, the co-pilot could've done the following (times released by investigators in brackets to show my theory):
1. Captain leaves. Co-pilot starts descent shortly afterwards. (9.30-9.31)
2. Captain returns. Co-Pilot then moves toggle to 'lock' position. Plane would've already descended a fair distance. (9.35)
3. Door is now locked out for 5 minutes completely. Roughly the right amount of time to crash the plane. (9.40)
Yep, thats how the copilot of the germanwings flight locked everyone out and crashed the plane.
Solve one problem and create another.
Everyone's asking why the pilot didn't use the emergency code, the real question is why Sally didn't just ask if they were ok through the phone.
You tried Sally, you tried.
ceptehn, do you read me, it's suhleey!
sirry cipteeen, i have firgetten the cockpit acces prositor
nO PRobLEm SALly, I‘Ll oPeN THe dOoR
If someone enters the emergency code the people inside the cockpit have 30 seconds if I'm not wrong to block the request and the door remain closed
Thanks for the suggestions you have shared here.
It seems the captain wasn't able to open the door using code cause the pilot inside the cockpit turned the locked switch on.
Exactly. Once the switch inside the cockpit has been set to "lock", the panel outside the cockpit is deactivated - so even the emergency code does not work anymore for 5 minutes. This is to prevent e.g. terrorists from entering the cockpit by using the emergency code they got via force from a flight attendant. But if the persons inside the cockpit are incapacitated, they cannot set the switch to "lock" every 5 minutes, so eventually entry will be possible via the emergency code.
This is crazy. You can't forget your debit card when you take some money at an ATM because you won't get the money until you take your card back. But you still have planes who fly with only one guy in the cockpit.
So cool!
*eating a bag of pop corn like its an intense movie*
"THEN WHAT HAPPENED!?" *munch munch munch*
I would really like to see the fault tree diagrams which lead to the design of this system....
well this explains it all. the copilot that crashed the plane didnt even need to put the switch to the lock position when the first officer got out. then when he finished using the restroom if the first officer tried entering the cockpit using the security code the bad guy had 30 seconds to now put on the lock position. giving him 5 minutes which is more than enough time to crash the plane.
First officer = co pilot 😉
Super Video
From 5:20 : this situation is a "holy fuckin crap".
To the people that are saying why the pilot didnt use emergency code to access the cockpit. If he used emergency prosedure, then it would have buzzed for 30 sec, The co pilot would obviously take action and lock the door. There wasnt any point to do that.
He did use the code, but was denied entry ever time.
In Case of Emergency to unlock ist simply to enter a passcode? But what does it mean "when the time ist over without any action from the cockpit" Does that means the crew can still lock the door to prevent any flight crew to enter even they have entered the emergency key?
yes.......
This video is funnier than any Nicole Arbour video
dear writer
thank you for sharing
what you have shared is very fact
and ummmm jus thank you
have a grat day
Im concerned that this type of classified info is available over the internet ....
Why wasn't the Germanwings pilot able to unlock the door with the code?
+Colin Smith The First Officer would have denied access via the control switch. There should be a way of pilots being able to enter with a card or emergency override code.
If the pilot inside the cockpit puts the switch to the lock position, the door is locked for 5 min regardless if the code is entered or not
@@kylehenderson2 that’s the thing . Then a terrorist can force a flight attendant to open the cockpit door
it can be overridden
@@sammy2745 well...
Disasters are coming down and no one can stop them. The Worst is yet to come.
New cockpit 'rule of two' law should've been put in place after red flags going up after flight MH30
This kind of sensitive information shouldn't be floating around the internet.
Ceptehn, here is yehr wehter.
Okay, fine.
OH MY GOD CAPTAIN WITH THE FUCKING ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT
I always thought that the pilots shouldn't be allowed to leave the cockpit in flight and that the front bulkhead toilet should be accessible from the cockpit only. A locked door is protecting the crew only when it remains closed. if pilots are opening it during flight that is all a terrorist needs to access the cockpit rendering all security pointless !
Yes, why can't they pee in a bottle?
There is a camera and flight attendants near the cockpit door, so if they notice any suspicious behavior they do not open the door.
As you can see from the video, the flight crew have the ultimate control over the locking of the door. If there's a terrorist on board, all they need to do is flip the switch to 'lock'.
ronenfe They should move the bulkhead toilet door so it is in the cockpit ... so they don't have to leave the cockpit
All any one who wants to get in the cockpit has to do is buy a seat at the front and rush the door when it opens.. that's it... pilots should take sandwiches and have the bulkhead loo in the cockpit...
What is the angle in the door frame for?
That is designed so that the door doesn't contact the cockpit overhead panel when it's opened.
There should be a system that makes pilot's all actions diabled in cockbit for such this situations. And also cockpit should be watched lively from the center station.
No need..there is a safety procedure already in use now
Interesting
oh well.. :(
I hope we'll hear what went wrong...
Flying may be safe, but rapid decompressing will knock anyone off within seconds.. if that's the case, outside help cannot do a thing.
should there now be a visual medium
Lol 😂she give 1 bottle to the guy but he says 2 bottles hahaha
That poor flight attendant sounds TERRIFIED.nice video though!
I'm sorry, I'm still unclear how the copilot could keep the door locked if the pilot could enter a number in the keypad to override it. This video didn't have a section for how to keep hijacker out of the cockpit. I also wonder what happens when terrorist grab "Sally" and make her unlock the cockpit.
its becuase of the little switcher between .. it was "normal" "lock" and "open" the co pilot switched it to "lock" and then the door is locked for around 5 to 10 minutes before the pilot can open it again.... but then the co pilot could turn it to "lock" again
The "lock" switch disables the keypad outside the cockpit. That means that even the emergency code will not work for 5 minutes. Even if someone enters the emergency code when the door is not locked via the switch, there is a 30s delay before the door actually is opened, and during these 30s the pilot(s) still can hit the "lock" switch and override the emergency code.
What about crazy malasians?
did the pilot get 9/11 hybris?
30 seconds are too long in a Emergency i think!! 15 or up to 20 Seconds i prefer...
2:36 DENIED
Still no word about the copilot name and nationality.
Andreas L. 27yo Montabaur, Germany. its all over the news
silencer122 Co-pilot 28-year-old Andreas Lubitz
vitto no they corrected it ... he was 27 yo
yep thats very sad.... but maybe he dont wanted it.... maybe isis wanted to.. becuase there were normally a soccer team mostly kurds, in the plane but they decided to take another plane later in the day. An maybe isis wanted to kill them and used the captain for it,
kn4pp3n That sound ridiculous.
also wenn die crew aus diesem video auch für flugtauglich eingestuft wurde, dann mal gute nacht....
Before his death, the co-pilot should say what that sound, cry if he was sane or in the mind, if it is not an animal! Can the co-pilot was not conscious and disoriented? He had to say what that reminded himself before he died! Apparently, he lost consciousness! Die in silence in the cockpit can only asleep man
Airbus should provide a shotgun to open the cockpit door faster or maybe grenades or c4
Heverything is ok
Oh my god how could they not have thought of a deliberate from inside the cockpit it happened before. There is a lot of solutions like using a retinal scan, finger prints and having pressure sensors on the cockpit chairs (like in every car) in the case that there is not actually 2 pilots in the cockpit. That seems so obvious ! this is not a fail-proof design and airbus should fix it for fuck sake !
There is another way to get into the cockpit. If you force a depressurization of the plane,by drilling a hole or a big crack to open using a oxygen bootle within a window causing the panel door to blow out of the cockpit door,so the Pilot locked outside could try to get in.But there is another problem apart from the hypoxia of the pilot outside (that cam be mitigated using the portable oxygen bottle.Inside the cockpit there's a Crash Axe that can be used to hurt who try to get inside. To open a hole from inside to outside an oxygen bottle with a control explosion,But this option will take to much.time.A gun locked somewhere to use in an emergency would possible do the trick as well.
That is actually a great idea👍🏻
Not even being ironic😆
The challenge would be to make a hole in the fuselage skin.
So efectifly it had a dead mans switch while co pilot held button everyone was dead
no pun intended Draw back of the over ride procedur is it takes about 2mins to open door chances are there wouldn't be time
Security is great! Marvellous concept - if you're willing to kill everybody on board and manage to get inside the cockpit (however you manage to do this) - only a SWAT-team will be able to prevent your wrongdoing.
Wait- how likely is it to have a fully equipped SWAT-team on board a commercial airliner at severral thousand feet above groundlevel?
Anyhow: Security is good for all of us, it's going to SAVE OUR LIVES, you see. We need MORE of these security-items.
There even is a very clean and simple solution to improve this approach with a battletank-like-reinforced-cockpit-door: We only need to deploy a fully equipped SWAT-team with semiautomatic rifles, explosives, these doorbreakers and other stuff that enables to break through the cockpit door in case of an emergency to any of these commercial flights and everything is way more SECURE again :D :D :D
Nice idea! xD
Whats with the porno soundtrack?
So how could this happen then: ua-cam.com/video/VPEHyN57IXE/v-deo.html
