The Year 1999 is when Bungle was doing shows live. The year 1989 was when Epic came out on The Real thing album. Mr Bungle was Mike's band before he joined Faith No More. Mike does a lot of solo work, check out his Mondo Cane, as it is all in Italian.
The "dad looking guy" is not a member of the band per se, but is world-reknown percussionist William Winant who recorded with them and toured with them, lucky bastards. Such a cool arrangement of this song in the worst mixed festival live recording you can find of Bungle in that era
The 92 live version sounds much different than this 99 version. Many songs they first performed in the early 90s changed with their sound in the mid 90s and then late 90s.
Brandon from Incubus knew only for Iron Maiden in music.. Then he heard first Mr.Bungle album, got knocked out from Patton`s voice, got into his mannerism and shortly after he founded Incubus...! Just so that you know who`s the father of the game.. ;) ~ Similar story`s with Corey from Slipknot and Chuck from Deftones... They`re all Patton`s children, bro... :D
Don't know about the year but I can tell this concert was in Germany. A suggestion : Modselektor & TTC - Dancing Box ua-cam.com/video/e4ZUspBCFWc/v-deo.html
You upset me. Patton was by no means originally in FNM by any means. They were playing in high school together. Look at the song credits if you wanna know who in the band wrote the songs. They all contribute and write songs for the band. Even the drummer has written.
Earned a sub from me. I'll tell the rest of my ventriloquist friends about it, although some of them are still into gangster rap, even after so many losses over the years
Check out their re-do of The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny. Released last year. Fucking FIRE!! Scott Ian (Anthrax/SOD) and Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits) Thrash at its best.
Well, actually... not for you to be offended in front of your wife, hahah... ;) But Orlando Bloom really appears at a brief moment in official video for Faith No More`s song "Evidence" (!) and that video you two just have to check out, if you haven`t already. :))) Trust me, the both - song and video are smooth as hell, or silk - whatever you wanna call it. :) To make it even interesting, Orlando is acting a copy-cat of Mike Patton. ;) So, it`s OK, hahah... :)) Ofc, stay with Mr.B. too. Next stop, if you ask me: "Squeeze Me Macaroni..." What a madhouse! :-) Go down Mike Patton road and many will follow you chnnl. ;) Cheers ! :)
The original video and version of this grom the 80s is sooooo much better. Mike Patton= Mr Bungle, Faith no More, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Fantomas, Mondo Cane, Dead Cross, Lovage, Nevermen, Kadda/Patton, Hemophiliac, Tetema, ect.....

sounds just like the sounds i make on the toilet every morning.
Thanks for hyping Mr Bungle and Patton.
William Winant the percussionist
Your wife was right, Incubus first two albums were DEFINITELY inspired by Mr. Bungle 100%.
This is the middle of the song
Its funny you mention Incubus, they are from the same area in California and were no doubt influenced by Patton/Bungle.
You upset me. Patton was by no means originally in FNM by any means. They were playing in high school together. Look at the song credits if you wanna know who in the band wrote the songs. They all contribute and write songs for the band. Even the drummer has written.
My mask approves.

Welp, I commented on Squeeze about this song but I probably should have looked up your Mr. Bungle trips first.

Your wife is right. Mike Patton influenced Brandon Boyd of Incubus. You can hear it better in Faith no More.
Interesting you mentioned Incubus, their singer admitted in an interview years back that he pretty much copied Mike Patton's style
