I thought the host was one of the worst. I’m not familiar with his other work so my observation is totally on his appearance in this episode. Someone needs to suggest he spend some time with a vocal coach as he drops his voice to a whisper on many of his lines making it impossible to hear. I tried upping the volume and that made everything else way to load. I turned 9n subtitles but they were lagging behind. We’re it not for the topics this week I would have given this episode a miss. I’m not even interested in the extended version when it’s released.
Clive Myrie is brilliant! And thanks for Liz for getting out before the taping of the episode! Meanwhile good luck with the successor cabbage or cucumber. 😜
This might be the first time I've ever successfully guessed a headline. That said, the kākāpō's exclusion from BotY is a slightly bigger news story here in NZ.
@@KiwiFlashBang that was last year. My how time... flies. There's also been a voting scandal this year, but seemingly not as big as ones in years past. So far.
Thanks a lot! Kid asleep. Company for my late evening tea! I hope you get back on track again, even though noone seem to know HOW? I believe it's criminally arrogant Not to hold a general election.
greatly anticipated episode. great impression of Liz Truss by Jo Brand - two diametrically opposite people lol. the only person who would have been better in the presenting chair would have been Jo after the last great HIGNFY after the twenty fifteen election.
Define irony: only know realising that they've removed the barriers between the participants as covid restrictions are decreased, while I'm watching this having myself cought covid after two years of no issues.
I guess insular, post-Brexit UK wouldn’t recognize the Dutch Prime Minister at 0:0:50. You are after all the center of the world and will solve the Russian-Ukraine war single handedly. Oh, and you invented the telephone and were first to the moon.
This week's was admittedly a bit low key. But others have maintained the standard. The Liz Truss joke has already been done, so its fallen a bit flat this week. And some guests just dont inspire on the day.
Must be one of the more anticipated episodes of this show. So thrilled that you upload for us each week. Greetings from Germany 👋🏻
fr, i don't usually watch HIGNFY, but after this week who could stay away lol
Tbh it's not as funny when the subject easily makes a laughing stock of herself. She doesn't need any help.
Also, hell of a week for Mock the Week to go out on
Genau so isses. :-)
@@gstephenson9442 true. She's a very easy target.
I have been on pins and needles for this episode since I saw Mrs. Truss's resignation. And the joy of seeing Mr. Myrie host! Thank you so much.

VivAHD, Thank you very much for your dedication with your uploads. They mean a lot to me, and can be tricky to find in East Tennessee.

Great upload again. Thank you.
Bless, cheers for uploading
Clive Myrie: "Van-da-lism, a Dutch artist I've never heard of." Priceless 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I've been *waiting* for this one. For what feels like longer than I've been waiting for Truss to leave.
Precisely!
Thanks so much for posting!
Thanks for posting from Denver Colorado
Also in Denver and so happy this is up!! Been waiting since the news broke yesterday hahaha
Thank you. Really good season thus far.
Thank you so much VivaHD

Yep. It's been quite the scandal.
First I've heard about it... Although a few years ago a bat won bird of the year 🙂

Seeing the news, this should be a 2hr special
Thank you from Qatar . I eagerly wait for your episodes.
so grateful, thanks for posting this
It's been an amazing week for English Anarchists, you know. I've been in fits of giggles for days now!
Thanks OP 🙏 Clive really adds some pizaz to the show!

Ever since I saw that Truss has resigned, I’ve been looking forward to HIGNFY. Thanks for the upload.
This episode had to deliver, and deliver it did.
THANK YOU FROM THE U.S. WE NEED THIS 😁
It makes us feel like we are not the only ones with a screwed up political system.
Big thank you again!
Thank you for uploads. Hi from South Africa
21:18 Jo's reaction to male dogs not caring for competence is everything😄
Such a good upload, thanks
Wonderful! Clive is superb as ever.
"A grooming scandal" lolol. Ian deserved a lot more applause for that one.
It _was_ very good!
'Liar or liability' was good too!

No, I don't have a problem. I can stop anytime I want to. I just don't want to yet.
Thanks
British politics is so much more entertaining than our boring german stuff. It's a shitshow but so interesting to watch.
Thanks from Maryland.
Cheers for the upload
Thanks for this, LOVE the show. Going to be a Liss Truss turkey shoot for sure :D Let's see if I was right.
I have felt for the HIGNFY team nowadays, generally being massively out of date each week before they even go on air. Still hugely enjoyable, though.
great early up, thank you
Ah my weekly bit of sanity
thank you very much !!! grateful geordie living in usa
Throwing cold tomato soup at a painting. Marjorie Taylor Greene was furious the Gazpacho police did nothing to stop it.

funny from the start. thanks for the upload!
love ian's tie. clive and jo look like they've got a funeral to get to after the show lol
Clive Myrie is, without a doubt, the best HIGNFY presenter! So entertaining.
I see Katy Balls is on as the acceptable face of the Tory Party this week.
Damn, how soon can we get another episode of HIGNFY, the sun comes out when its on.
Those dogs are all under 18... Jo's right.

Yes, Ian has won 174 episodes to Paul's 362 episodes with 32 drawn episodes. (Wikipedia)

Why would you glue yourself to a wall? I say, best way to protest is to rip off your shirt and bra in front of the painting! Why damage it with soup?
Definitely not as funny as it used to be..
