I agree I always hated this storyline. It's a shame Susan couldn't changed to the writers mind. I would've like to beat the writer for writing this storyline. It was the worse thing they could've done. I would've like to see Erica have a baby boy.

There was a lot of potential for stories there but the writers had Erica kidnap a baby which Erica would have never done. The writers should have had Dimitri and Erica reunite.
Not a clue. I know the fans really wanted her to have a boy, and even Susan Lucci has said that she really wanted Erica to have the baby. I'm not sure what the rationale was for the miscarriage because the awful 'kidnapping Maria's baby' storyline was so NOT worth it.
YES, I agree with all the comments! Regardless if they had a boy or a girl, their baby would've been super cute! All the AMC babies were cute like Sam, Maddy, Colby, etc... His facial hair does look really good, as a matter of fact he's the reason why I'm growing my facial hair out. I'm prolly the only straight guy that is watching these AMC vids, LOL!
Matthew Moreno There was not much story line initially about him getting sick- just an episode or two where he had a headache. Then it went directly into his relationship with Alex and he went missing , presumed drowned. He came back about a year later a prisoner of Alexs’ mother.

Erica was SO happy. Somewhere a writer needed to be beaten for having her lose that baby. :( I so wish she'd had a baby boy with this pregnancy.
YES! Even Susan said that she wished they had let Erica have the baby. It broke my heart that she miscarried.

Why did the writers think it was a good idea for Erica to lose the baby? She defiantely should have had a little boy with Dimitri.
