While I love this side of Dirt this documentary only shows one side of him and doesn't fully capture the genius inside. Seeing him in the drunken master mindset will make the casuals think he is novelty gimmick rapper....however make no mistake drunk or not this man was a master. He stood out over his peers because he was homegrown musical cultural prodigy. A very intelligent man with a lot of talent. You can't be stupid to make success look that easy. Dirt is what most cannot be that's fully living in the moment. Not the past and not futurizing. In of itself that is an art.
People in the comments are so focused on Ason having his son watch him getting high, and judging him for doing so. My gut tells me that perhaps the deeper reason for that whole experience was to a). show his son NOT to end up like he did and, b) spend the last few moments with his son as he must have suspected the end was near for him. Did his actions seem logical? Not on the surface. But NONE of us knows what was going on in Ason's head/life/spirit at that time. He had been fighting so many different battles for so long, that the brother was depleted and ultimately defeated. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
I like your comment and you're 💯 right. People judge him on his life but nobody really know what he's been through. But he was definitely not a happy human being. Maybe that's why he was always high and drunk, messing around, trying to forget his mental issues and his problems. In my opinion, he was warning everyone around him that he was gonna hurt himself. I mean when you see someone always drinking and taking drugs, you can figure out that something's going wrong...for real. His slow downfall was predictable
Jail did him say worse he wasn't the same after look at him prior to jail vs after. His jail stories are crazy he broke down in there. He was assaulted and jumped multiple times and tried multiple suicide plus lit himself on fire for protection. He had it rough in there. Like Juice Wrld this world wasn't for him. He wasn't happy without the drugs which eventually killed him. But lived his life and did what he wanted. Rip ODB I understand your struggle.

He seemed like he really tried but when he was sober they wanted the old dirty back...He was just was like fuck it.....ODB needed to know he was truly loved.....His flow and voice were so original..no one like ODB. He would have done well today because his voice was so versatile one of a kind....RIP Osirus sweet baby Jesus and bless all his kids !!!
Lengends never die
the big fellow in the studio pushing ODB is his long time friend and manager, BUDDAH MONK
Even after all the strife, ODB still carried more talent than most in today's rap business
I fuuuuucckkking love this !!! Odb had me dying !! U can tell he was smart and had alot of knowledge !! But this also makes me sad nd mad af cus I Dont Like seeing ODB like tht!! 😢💔 R.I.P ASON UNIQUE

@@thomasjohnsonn-uy7ex No they sure as hell dont, child sacrificing, satanic, demented flesh robots. This guy was a fuckin legend. I laugh when I see people writing about his drug use, welfare card scene, etc. Doesnt matter a fuck to me, this guy gets ya spirit goin
One of my favorites of all time. Glad I got a chance to meet the God
i cant watch this. i love him too much
It's too sad
@@cocoq10 It still applies to this day
My thoughts exactly 😢
Really tough to watch..
I love how he was a beatles fan.
That relatability is a beautiful thing
Beatles was a pretty good damn group any race could like
While I love this side of Dirt this documentary only shows one side of him and doesn't fully capture the genius inside. In of itself that is an art.
the world NEEDS this dude R.I.P.
Agreed. 100% exactly what I feel. The spirit knows when it's ready to go.
He definitely was overwhelmed and tired- I think he’d had enough. Jail also broke his spirit.
Love ODB but you can really see the damage the drugs did to the poor dude :(
Period
Jail did him say worse he wasn't the same after look at him prior to jail vs after. His jail stories are crazy he broke down in there. He was assaulted and jumped multiple times and tried multiple suicide plus lit himself on fire for protection. He had it rough in there. Like Juice Wrld this world wasn't for him. He wasn't happy without the drugs which eventually killed him. But lived his life and did what he wanted. Rip ODB I understand your struggle.
He was diagnosed with schizophrenia right before he got out.
@@Don-md4df how dare you use odb n juicebitch in the same sentence......
@@iamthefuss934 what i said😐
ODB spoke candidly about Rick James. The 2nd album cover was a tribute to him. Ironic that they both died the same year......
Yeah that's crazy!
This bought back so many memories ..SIP ODB.. 🖤🖤 A True Legend!!!
