@@Cornetto1997 Um it may play different notes out of different drivers but there is no separation. Without separation you ear doesn't hear left and right. That separation is the point of stereo sound. As a sound engineer I'm sure you're aware of this, or did you make that up? Why are people so worried about the 1300 dollar speaker sounding better then the 800 dollar speaker? You get what you pay for. The 1000 has a better Freq response and it's louder. @777djtom1 we hear the freqs as tones, I was dumbing it down for you. You know the guy that believes if different frequencies come out of each driver it becomes stereo. I'll go shoot it now and It'll be posted in a couple hours
The 1000 does not support apps, is not basic waterproofing, and the Bluetooth version is 4.2. When using tws, the music cuts out even if you move a little away. The design is also outdated. If you buy it now, you should go for the 710.
The 1000 is top of thr line when it comes to sound quality and bass quality however , it's pain in the a... to move it around and has no battery . I'm going to stick with the 310 until jbl releases battery operated 1000 partybox + half of what it weights
I'm pretty sure speaker quality and heavier weight go hand in hand, and having a battery with enough capacity to power such a speaker would add a lot more weight by itself. In other words that would be impossible. Consumers should stop complaining about quality items being heavy and maybe hit the gym.
@@limitsc First they could use better drivers with passive radiator setup to make box smaller/lighter and battery for approx. 500W (as pb1000 is right now) would weight about 2kg / for 3-5 hour play time on max volume. @@limitsc 20 inch TV were not battery operated yet very heavy and a challenge to move around. now adays there are battery operated portable 16 inch tablets and 17 inch laptops that weights way less than the OG TV. What would u suggest buying especially something that is very loud but does not lose base on higher volume and can pair with bluetooth. Ore are there even any of this type sort of “speakers”?
Can the lights on the 710 be kept on to one color without flashing (while playing music?) This, although trivial, is the most annoying thing about the 110 and 310. Sometimes you just want loud music and ambience without making your room look like a club. Thanks for the video mate.
I prefer personally the JBL MODEL 1000, gives you more power, batter balance mids, high and blowing Bass....clear, crisp..sound...much more enjoyment if place outdoors....
Should I get the 710 or the 1000 what do you think ? ( if I want a clear sound and good bass at the same time or should I wait to release a new that powerful speaker like the 1000 ?)
I also felt that, but it's happening because of headphones. In real life, you will feel different. 1000 has a subwoofer which has less audible bass and more body shaking feel. 710 has woofers, which has more audible bass as well as some body shaking feel. But as 710 has more audible bass, so our headphones are responding better with 710 You can see the camera and the tripod is shaking more when 1000 is playing, the whole video is shaking too much.. 1000 has more body shaking effect
@Robsreviewsanddemos definitely but in comparison with my pb310 that has the jbl app and eq settings in that, the pb310 definitely has a cleaner sound quality, not louder but just a better quality of sounds thanks to the eq in the jbl app,it's a shame the app doesn't work with the pb1000,its the only let down I could find with the pb1000
@@GGiismo are you kidding? You messing with me? When buying speakers you want the frequency response RANGE to be as WIDE as possible. There are some songs I have the bass is so low you can't hear it on the 710 because it doesn't go low enough, but you can hear it on the 1000. My home Theater subs go down to 20 HZ for the SVS and I think 26HZ for the RELL, the lower the subs go the better, down to 14HZ anyway, because you can't hear below that. The 1000 and the 710 are both SPEAKERS they have the same high end response and the 1000 goes 5Hz lower, that's better because it will play tones the 710 can't play, my Subs will play tones neither partybox can play. The specifications are to tell you what you're getting. So I don't know what the heck you're talking about and I don't think you do either. Two different specifications??? What the hell do you mean by that, the specs aren't specialized for one thing or another. Speakers are speakers, the wider the range the better period. The Large LG speakers only go down to 45hz, does that mean they sound just as good as the jbl's, they're just different devices with different specs? NO THEY'RE SPEAKERS TOO, THEY DON'T GO AS LOW AS THE JBL'S SO THEY DON'T PLAY MANY FREQUENCIES THE JBL'S DO PLAY. So on some songs there will be tones I'll never hear out of my lg's.

I need a favor. Can you post a video of replacing the battery in the air gesture wristband that comes with the JBL PartyBox 1000? I tried following the instructions, but for the life of me, I cannot get the back of it off. I'm using a coin and trying to turn it counter-clockwise from 12:00 to 09:00, but it won't budge. It's even starting to scratch up the back of the wristband because I am applying so much force. I'm afraid that if I try to hold the coin with a pair of pliers that it is going to break the wristband. Is there a trick to this or am I doing something wrong?
No I'm not saying that at all I just figured try it, but if I had to guess I would say that you are egg shaping the unit when gripping it. If it's egg shaped it won't come loose. So loosen your grip on the main body of the bracelet then try turning it. you can wd40 it too if you have too, just make sure to clean it out really well before putting the new battery in.
I listened to the 1000 and the 710 and in my opinion the 1000 sounds very deep and the 710 more punchy, the 710 with bass boost 2 is more effective than the 1000 in outdoor which sound too deep because in outdoors the deep bass is easily lost
the 1000 definitely goes deeper. As for boost 2 vs 1, they boost different frequencies and I agree 2 is a more punchy bass. I use it for rock music and boost1 for hip hop.

I am gonna do another video utilizing the eq in the app, so maybe people will see that the jbl eq only lowers frequencies. I doubt it though, they'll say it wasn't fair or some crap because they bought a 710. My reviews are completely unbiased, completely. I'm useless if I don't tell me viewers the truth. @777djtom1 we hear the freqs as tones, I was dumbing it down for you. You know the guy that believes if different frequencies come out of each driver it becomes stereo. Hey Einstein, I'll let you in on a secret, don't tell nobody, by your reasoning every three way tower speaker would be stereo.

The 1000 sounds more monstrous, like a Giant walked inside the room.
It really does
The 1000 does not support apps, is not basic waterproofing, and the Bluetooth version is 4.2.

Hi Robs, I agreed with you abt PB1000 has a little more bass into it. I am curious as of these two speakers which one do you think has a better sound Tweeter? Thx
I like the 1000 better, but they're both good. For 200more bucks you could bet 2 710's and have stereo sound.

they're both great, you get what you pay for generally, so you get more speaker with the 1000 but the 710 is probably a slightly better value.
The 1000 is hands down not even a comparison not only on this vid but in person I will rattle an entire 2800 sf house without exaggeration AT ALL

Nice reviews Rob, can you do comparison video of Jbl Partybox 1000 vs Jbl Eon 715 ?
I'm pretty busy for the next several months but maybe over the summer.
The bass of 710 sounds more clear and deep while 1000 is more boomy or is it just me
I also felt that, but it's happening because of headphones.
In real life, you will feel different.
1000 has a subwoofer which has less audible bass and more body shaking feel.
710 has woofers, which has more audible bass as well as some body shaking feel.
But as 710 has more audible bass, so our headphones are responding better with 710
You can see the camera and the tripod is shaking more when 1000 is playing, the whole video is shaking too much.. 1000 has more body shaking effect
I felt the opposite. I felt the 1000 was cleaner and the 710 had rougher base.
When the base is rougher is sounds deeper but not clean.

The BASS of jbl 710 was so STRONG that the eq settings were turned off to make the comparison with the jbl 1000 fair hi😜
yeah because a 35hz speaker definitely has more bass than a 30hz speaker
@@GGiismo yeah they're two different devices lol. If they were the same device you couldn't compare them.

I own 710, I think 310 is more better for medium to small rooms, in aspect of bass 710 base is more than you can listen, you suffer from base
the 710 is a great speaker and definitely a great value. The 1000 goes lower and shakes the house more, it has a higher end sound with that 12 inch subwoofer. You pay for it though, it's 500 dollars more than the 710
You can use jbl partyboost after this if you want make neighbours fire your house 😂.
The lows of the 710 are deep and clear. Slightly muted on the 1000
I need a favor. Is there a trick to this or am I doing something wrong?
turn it the other way. I threw mine out, never used it.
