@@parkerspeedy2 you can't mileage legendaries before unlocking them either, except for moonlight.
You can get legendaries through events, outbreak, trophy race and guild. Also once you unlocked them, you can use mileage points. I somehow maxed out Sea Fairy, got wind archer to lv.11, Dark Enchantress Cookie to lv.10 and Lotus to lv.8

i’m happy you’re playing this game again !! here’s some tips from a regular player ;D
- someone else mentioned this, but following the jellies guarantees collecting them + avoiding obstacles!
- costumes from the gacha give you/your cookies a better score!
- use your spirit potions on cookies to level them up
- make candies!! they’re like boosters that also give your cookies special abilities. you have to upgrade your cookie to level 3 before you can make one and every cookie has unique ingredients that you can craft (or buy)
- certain cookies’ abilities change the jump and slide buttons when they activate or do certain things like double jump or slide for a certain amount, so pay attention to those
- newer cookies are going to be better than older ones, so for that reason here are some recommendations if you want a good score:
truffle, mocha ray, lobster, sorbet shark, & peppermint are all really good atm!
some other contenders are: lemon, yogurt, and the legendaries sea fairy, ananas dragon & pitaya dragon

I have been playing cookie run for a long time and here are some tips. Right now blackberry is really good. Adventurer good too. Sorbet is one of the best relays in trophy race along with lobster. Pancake is super good. Leek, jujube, peach are good. Cocoa was a good choice it’s really good. Pirate and ice captain is good. For legendaries pitaya is ok but out of the meta. Dark enchantress is crap. Fire spirit moonlight and millennial tree are ok but waaaaay out of the meta. The best are sea fairy and ananas (the yellow dragon). For rares soda ninja and cheerleader are really good. Also you know the stage with a lot of hearts. Use soda there. To get legendaries with the breakout reward go for the blue cookies. Once you get the legendary in the chest gacha there should be a turquoise chest you can get free copy of legendary. Also for jujube and lobster you need to slide

You need to slide a lot if you miss jellies for lobster cookie, it also puts his ability out faster.
Also Millennial Tree has a small magnet on jellies.
Soda cookie is helpful if you have his candy and if you collect hearts (it's better to use soda cookie in the part where there's health potions).

Hi Matt, I watched your channel for some time now when I found out that you got sponsored to play cookie run it made me happy, because I am a long time player of cookie run .
you bought some jelly skins you can equip them in the top right corner. There's a book with a jelly on it.
Also you got a lot of cubes, those are for the costumes. You can get them at the place where you can open chest and eggs.
On that thought you spend a lot of diamonds on chests. Bottom left in the place where you open chests and eggs there's a blue chest that you can get to basically get free cookies and pets.

Sorbet Shark Cookie only gives you more points when the energy bar is in the last part (where there are small fractures) if you manage to activate his last skill

I've never felt more jealousy than seeing all of those beautiful rainbow cubes taunting me through the screen
a couple tips from someone who's been playing for 2 years
-don't assume the gender of the cookies oh my god the fandom will kill you
-use newer cookies! they're much better than older ones! a few good ones right now are lobster, mocha ray, adventurer, blackberry, sorbet shark, sea fairy, pitaya, and jujube
-max your treasures up! you'll get so many more points depending on the cookie and map
-dark enchantress is actual garbage right now
-equip the bear jelly set you just bought in the jelly atlas!
-use rainbow cubes to buy costumes which will increase your score
-legendaries are NOT always better than epics!
-the best ways to receive legendaries is through breakout rewards and the breakout shop, also use your milage points on the bottom left of the cookie gacha!
-use spirit potions to level up your cookies
-make magic candies and max them up! It will improve your score by a TON. your cookies are pretty much useless without them
-collect health potions (the round gold bottles that appear while you play) PLEASE you are giving me anxiety why are you not collecting them
-do trophy races to get gold chests!
-if you think breakout is hard then I feel so bad for you
-learn how to use the cookies' abilities because a lot of them are kind of confusing and hard and if you do them right you'll get better scores
-millennial tree has that name because he slept for a millennium
-use cookies with their pets! you'll get a better score because it gives you a bonus

So anyway, I decided to try out hacked Battle Cats. I started spending catfood on 11-Draws like a madman, and the current event was Tales of the Nekoluga. First draw - Nekoluga, Papaluga. Second draw - Nobiluga, Nekoluga. A few draws later - *Legeluga* and some more duplicates. Another few draws later - Asiluga, Togeluga, Kubiluga, and another *Legeluga*
I couldn't believe I got 6 out of 8 Lugas just like that, and *two motherfricking Legelugas*
