Please take gbadebo very seriously and bring other sincere and patriotic experts on air to educate the government please think of our future generations
Rhodes-Vivour is spot on here! What a calm personality! The way and manner this GMO is going in Nigeria and many other African countries is such an insult to our collective intelligence as a people. Just watch again and listen to what he said about GM seeds and crops in Russia. What an annoying situation - the more I listen to this interview, the angrier I become!
This gbadebo speaks I was crying through out his speech i wish Nigeria 🇳🇬 will understand him.......oh Nigeria 🇳🇬 protect this guy and listen to him .......Nigeria should provide an office for him now
I'm sure Nigerians would like to see more discussions on this subject. Please bring bring back GRV along with other experts especially those from countries who have reversed from GMO to discuss this further.
Are you really based in the USA? Most of their food already has GMO. It's only in Europe that it's controlled. Better be reading food packages labels when you go to the groceries.
@ADE-of-LAGOS Organic foods don't contain GMO, and that's what l buy. By the way, because foods in the United States contain GMO, it makes it okay to consume in Nigeria. Why do some folks have to measure the standards in Nigeria with countries in the West? This morning, l was watching a Nigerian attorney lambasting the book written by Dele Farotimi. The examples this attorney used was deformation of character in France and the UK. It was just so absurd for an educated attorney comparing the laws in France, a French speaking country to Nigeria. Then he mentioned the UK. Nigeria is a sovereign country. I don't understand why the comparison. Nigeria is not under slavery.
These are the type of topics we should be discussing and taking very seriously. All these are the reason life expectancy keep reducing in this country. Cancer here and there and the people think witches are the cause not knowing it's the food we consume/ don't consume. Please say NO TO GMO IN AFRICA.
They won’t listen, they’ll learn the hard way. Like it has always been throughout the years. Everything about GMO is evil. Why would Monsanto be pushing this on other countries if there’s no financial benefits to them? And knowing the greed of this corporations, they care less and it’s easier for them to get away with crimes in Africa by killing millions.
The GMO seedlings is an insidious agenda to our agro- economy & ecosystem. Govt should provide SECURITY & INCENTIVES to enable our farmers go back to farm. Nigeria has good climate/weather (tropical environment) for agricultural activities. No natural disasters unlike temperate regions of western countries.
The case of onion is an example. Some importers went ahead and imported seeds from abroad. The onions didn't yield. Alot of farmers lost alot. More reason onions are expensive
Am very very suprised that Nigerians and even our journalists dont know about this G.M.O food, bcos they only know about playing politics that's all..this G.M.O food of a thing is more dangerous than so called our politicians..pls let our masses protest against that evil food.
Very funny does greenhouse prevent pollinators or all insects from entering the farm? GMO is bad for us no matter how anyone wants to make it look presentable
If you plant GMO seeds, you will have security. If you accept GMO seeds, insecurity in farm zones will go away. If you don't accept GMO seeds, watch insecurity double.
@ObjectiveObserver-xh4vk it is region with special interests. When insecurity lasts over night, big hands are involved . This is even beyond GMO seeds.
So are you now saying we should accept poisonous food? A lot of you are ignorant on how the Western world is a huge threat to Africa, if not we will take this so seriously
Was that not the reason Nigerians are saying they are the ones here, selling farm products at unreasonable prices, claiming use, or Sola did not come with me Most of the urgly local players don't even want me to have farm land. Was that not why they were killing the tomatoes I planted at my backyards, cutting their heads? what is the result of Covid 19 And how is it related to Nigeria's election? Tolu Emiayo I am love Greatness dwells in me
This is about ownership. Your ability to grow your food. Theses seeds cannot grow or have very poor yield if you plant them in the next planting season. You must come buy new seeds from them
Why are you guys not bringing in Profs from all these agricultural unis that we have. This GMO thing has been ongoing since the mid 2010s and all i have seen is politicians talking not experts. We need people who can speak on cellular agriculture(dutch method) and not just GMOs
Learn to do research for yourself. They could pay a so-called experts to come and lie to you on national television. Your country is being colonized through food
He spoke the truth and he also spoke of people funding this GMO agenda using influencers to wash down the vital points they make. Let's SAY NO TO GMO IN AFRICA
Pls let's not forget the rushing of bill gates and Dangote to Aso rock to visit president Bola tinubu even before his inauguration. And we all know he's fully involved in GM food and he mentioned this to Bola tinubu. Pls let the APC government continue to fight the insecurity which is major problems of our foods insecurity. GM food is the course of random health issues worldwide. Organic food is the answer besides, are we better with our traditional food production?
Very important segment. A scenario where the whole crop has failed has occurred in banana farming. When you get everyone to plant the same variety of a crop, if there is a disease that attacks the crop the whole countries yield is affected. If you have multiple varieties being planted if one gets affected by pest or disease the others may be resistant and you don't have universal crop failure. That's just one scenario. There are many reasons why resisting GMO seeds is best for a country. The advocate has listed many but the list of reasons are far and wide. Another thing, these companies collect genetic material from all over the world and store it for themselves and patent their knowledge. Then they go around spreading their patented seeds. So what happens if that the farmers aren't maintaining genetic diversity by planting different varieties and types of seeds they are all no planting the same seeds. Eventually the varieties starts to disappear from the farming ecosystem because the farmers are not growing them. Then the only person with this genetic material is the Conglomerate seed companies and the own the patent too.
Your foolishness is smelling. I wonder how you would move forward with this kind of mentality. GRV is talking about food sustainability and here you are, still stuck in 2022 tribal bigot politicking. Yoruba state kee you there. Ewu.
Please take gbadebo very seriously and bring other sincere and patriotic experts on air to educate the government please think of our future generations
Arise please do give your guests water. Even when the man kept coughing continuously you kept asking questions
They don't care 😢they probably wanted him out faster.
Well done Rhodes-Vivour. GMO should be blocked
When will Nigerians wake up and face this people?
Rhodes-Vivour is spot on here! What a calm personality! The way and manner this GMO is going in Nigeria and many other African countries is such an insult to our collective intelligence as a people. Just watch again and listen to what he said about GM seeds and crops in Russia. What an annoying situation - the more I listen to this interview, the

Arise TV, please provide water for guests whenever they are invited.
He is not shouting and being aggressive and Nigerians will NOT listen to him or appreciate his presence
This gbadebo speaks I was crying through out his speech i wish Nigeria 🇳🇬 will understand him.......oh Nigeria 🇳🇬 protect this guy and listen to him .......Nigeria should provide an office for him now
Lagos deserve this guy, GRV as Governor.
His intelligence is too notch, his understanding and correlation of issues affecting the people are so apt.
Africa should continue to eat naturally grown ORGANIC foods, only the best… Not everything that glitter is gold…..
This man is so right❤
We need more patriotic Nigerians like Rhodes-Vivour. He makes a lot of sense.
Not much like him in Nigeria today 😢
This guy won my heart, I hope he becomes a top Nigerian politician, GMO is 😈 evils.
I'm sure Nigerians would like to see more discussions on this subject. Please bring bring back GRV along with other experts especially those from countries who have reversed from GMO to discuss this further.
Nigerians should ask why doesn't the United States don't have GMO in their food? I have lived in the United States for 49 years, and GMO is monitored.
Where in America do you live?
The USA makes love to GMOs!
Are you really based in the USA? Most of their food already has GMO. It's only in Europe that it's controlled. Better be reading food packages labels when you go to the groceries.
@ADE-of-LAGOS Says who and are you based in the United States? I don't know how or where you got your information from. Google and research it.
The man in white is 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 right
Nigeria una shame dey shame me oooo
Our leaders are letting us down so so much.
Missed hearing GRV talk
These are the type of topics we should be discussing and taking very seriously. All these are the reason life expectancy keep reducing in this country. Grv is an amazing guy. So broad in almost every deparment of governance. Lagos state governor in the making. Big ups bro!!
Well spoken my man we need more people like you to speak up.
The Nig gov = zero governance
The case of onion is an example. Some importers went ahead and imported seeds from abroad. The onions didn't yield. Alot of farmers lost alot. More reason onions are expensive
If I can't plant my food unless the proponents of GMO give me the seed, its like buying oxygen to breathe and live by the seconds😂😂😂😂😂.
No Country has sovereignty , or Independence , without food security.
He is the main man
This man is speaking facts
Am very very suprised that Nigerians and even our journalists dont know about this G.M.O food, bcos they only know about playing politics that's all..this G.M.O food of a thing is more dangerous than so called our politicians..pls let our masses protest against that evil food.
APC is a curse to Nigerians. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan time things were better.
PLEASE OFFER YOUR GUEST WATER 💦 NEXT TIME
Us farmers are unable to plant, because GMO companies keeps raising price of seed, they can't plant their own natural crops
My governor Zulum refused GMO seeds in Borno
Good when people can think for themselves. Rhode scholar African. BLACK AFRICAN UNITY
Worst part; the market have been flooded with That very bad GMO garlic.
With greenhouse, you also prevent the cross pollination and contamination
Very funny does greenhouse prevent pollinators or all insects from entering the farm? GMO is bad for us no matter how anyone wants to make it look presentable
If you plant GMO seeds, you will have security. If you accept GMO seeds, insecurity in farm zones will go away. If you don't accept GMO seeds, watch insecurity double.
But this logic does not apply to Russia and India?
Organic foods are not the cause of insecurity.
We have a failed economy caused by a failed government.
@stevenwilliams3015 Do you all have a choice? Watch it all unfold.
Nigerian journalism with their funny way of dodging their head as if they don't do their homework
#BanAndUprootGMOInAfrika #KickMonsantoOutOfAfrika #OrganicAfrika

Most of the urgly local players don't even want me to have farm land. Was that not why they were killing the tomatoes I planted at my backyards, cutting their heads?

Bring in a food scientist/agricultural scientist, not just significant individuals or concerned persons.
Pls let's not forget the rushing of bill gates and Dangote to Aso rock to visit president Bola tinubu even before his inauguration. GMO is very bad take for instance GMO garlic and local garlic.
Very important segment. A scenario where the whole crop has failed has occurred in banana farming. What's stopping it from doing so?
Every time I see GRV he always looks like a sleep deprived, overworked person. Bro needs to up his sleep routine or better still use some melatonin.
How can someone who doesn’t speaks Yoruba govern Lagos, a Yoruba state?
Your foolishness is smelling. I wonder how you would move forward with this kind of mentality. GRV is talking about food sustainability and here you are, still stuck in 2022 tribal bigot politicking. Yoruba state kee you there. Ewu.
@@onisolasamuel3201How will Nigeria become better with folk like this?
Mumu, I can see you care what they say about GMO until cancer catch your prick. Ode
Bill gates
Oyje shut up your Western propaganda Agent ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
