love this guy so much, been a fan of degrassi jr high and high since I was a kid, I'm 21 now. awesome guy and down to earth. very approachable and very friendly
Joey Jeremiah kicks ass... Hard to believe one of the producers didn't like Pat Mastroianni as Joey, impossible to picture him being played by anybody else.. (especially Shane, damn)
I have a feeling the original is better because you stick with original cast it isn’t dragged out like the next generation! Can’t wait to watch Degrassi original watching TNG now on season 9.
I was in my late 20s when Degrassi Junior High was in production. I came across the show by accident while flipping thru channels on day. It was shown on PBS in NY. Watching it reminded me of my own time in Jr High over a decade earlier & all the things i experienced were similar to what the TV show was portraying. The characters were similar to kids that i encountered in Jr High. If i was 10 years younger.. I would have been all over Caitlyn..she was so adorable.
The episode of degrassi high where claude died was shot in a way (with the blood being seen out the bottom of the toilet stall) that i havent seen being shown since. And i wish it was. Just because in my opinion, tv as a whole has become too precious. The stuff kids deal with now(with exception to technology obvs) people have dealt with before, and Baby boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, some of us have become doctors, lawyers, teachers, all while being exposed to tv the way it was back when. So what are the tv executives etc, worried about that they have dilute things? It just hasn't made sense to me for a while.
Very informative and eye opening

Dylan MacDonald He is such a nice guy! It certainly felt surreal that I was interviewing him. :)
Thanks for your comment!
Same love his personality
He was the star of the show.
What a pleasant and grounded gentlemen he turned out to be.

Probably the biggest mistake of his life was that he didn’t leave Degrassi and try out hollywood

Degrassi by far. It dealt with actual teenage issues

Please
Low budget series, developed a cult following after the CBC approved further
episodes. WNED, PBS aired the series in the United States.
The Next Generation was too much like 90210 which is why I thought it was anti- Degrassi. I could never get into it because of the slickness.
I tried to watch next generation. so much worse than the original.
Same with me. It's nowhere near the original series.
It’s better
@@Manda8789 nah I watched nect generation n went back to the original episodes/ the original series is top tier
@@Manda8789 no.

I’m gonna do my best to say your name not a good start to an interview
I think the interviewer did a great job! She didn’t interrupt the guest, and let him talk and tell his stories.
