This guy has the best lessons on UA-cam. He’s a badass
Joe Perry has this God Giving talent to write amazing riffs.
Also Brad Whitford
@@pawnhearts8785yep brad is a legend too
You're phenomenal with tutorials. You've made the best ones for intermediate and seasoned players. And you do all the songs right, you can play with the records and be on point.
Coming from a drummers point...You nailed this. Your approach pointed out exactly what will make this groove magically. YOU ARE TIGHT !
You know I quit playing about 5 years ago cause I was struggling and wasn't getting inspired anymore....I went and bought an acoustic last week and looked some video lessons and came to yours and something just clicked....now I can't wait to get home to play and watch your lessons, I can't thank you enough...your lessons inspire and give me hope to stay with it!
hemixprs Thanks so much! That's one of the nicest comment I've ever gotten! I'm really happy that you're back into it and having fun again! Music is the greatest thing...cheers
You are one of the best guitar teachers on UA-cam! I love how you break everything down so players of all levels can understand.
Would love to see you playing some old Judas Priest, perhaps Heroes End.
Øyvind Berntsen Thanks! Judas Priest are great, really solid guitar players. cheers
Another brilliant lesson. Without doubt, best on UA-cam.
Everyone agrees that S&P is the BEST guitar teacher on the web, let's put our money where our passion is and support this guy by donating $$$........ to make sure he continues.
"SHUT UP AND PLAY" Excellent; clearing up any questions to the point on point Thank you I'll be back.
Great Lesson - Thanks Man! Saw Aerosmith in'78 for my first concert and remember vividly them playing this song. You nailed it. Much appreciated!
This is just awesome...In honor of this lesson and the Toxic Twins, I'm hammering back some beers and belting this tune out tonight!!! Thanks a bunch!!
Jevabyu51 Thanks!
As usual perfect tone... way underrated bass line
I always come to this channel to fix parts that sound weird. Great job recognizing my mistakes in popular methods of playing these songs
--you gave us a great lesson.
very well thought out and nicely planned tutorial. I already knew how to play this song.. learned it many years ago but found myself getting sucked in to your video.
it was great.
Damn!! One of favorite Aerosmith tunes!!!!
The tone and the execution on this video are great! A real pleasure to listen to.
MY FAVOURITE AEROSMITH SONG!
Your lessons are always excellent . Thank you.
totally right about the subtle groove of aerosmith riffs, easy to get almost right.
You're off the hook bro! Simple and to the point, gotta love it. Please keep posting. Thx.
Amazing Job of Teaching this Tune that most pickers will never be able to play. Really Like how You break it down. Thank You Teacher.
From someone that has no talent to play guitar... you make it enjoyable to practice more and wish for the best. More instructors could take a lesson watching your videos.
Funny but reminds me of Steve Jobs but also that was one of the things about Shut's stuff and the way it is so easy to see what he is doing. It's kind of genius. It's his trademark and it's strange that he is only one who thought of it and to this day the only one who presents his stuff this way. No distractions, no tab, just clear well recorded, at the right angle, right light, brilliant guitar work. His stuff is for more advanced players who use their ears and can do it alone but just need a little help on the tricky parts. I always feel like I am at a rehearsal or practicing and my buddy is saying "Let me show you how this is really played." I don't know how he thought of this style and format but it is the best I have ever seen or heard and perfect for me.
keep these classics coming!
Jon Ang Thanks! again Jon
I have done several lessons from you and have to say a big thank you!!! Awesome,,,, spot on and very well explained...Again thank you for all the great licks!!!!!
Great lesson! You've got the vibe just right. Thanks man.
Thanks for the lesson. Corrected a couple of minor mistakes I've been doing. Cheers!
MrRock NRoll Thanks!
Great lesson will try this for sure
Thanks for all your lessons! They are very helpful well presented. As a newcomer to guitar (switching over from drums) I'm grateful that you make learning these classics available.
+Jim Hair Thanks Jim. cheers
Wow this is the best one yet
Wow dude, excellent job teaching this!
You got a new subscriber!
Awesome tutorial. You really did it perfect. And you specified every thing like common mistakes and stuff. Good job! Keep it up!
Glad you put that part in there about over playing (7:00). It is a main thing about any music especially with rock guitar.
Love this lesson! Jammed on this tune for years, but knew I was messing up a bit.
+Lee Brunk Me too!
If U have AUD HD on your TV provider. They have been showing a tour of Japan. Not so long ago.. It has some great camera work showing how they play these songs. Brad Whitford is an amassing guitar player and gets hardy any credit at all. This show kinda let us know when the real hard stuff comes in.. Brad takes the lead.. Love AEROSMITH !!!
Randy Burnett Yep, Brad is the backbone of the band for sure.
Really well taught man cheers most accurate sounding I've found!
Incredible amount of time, effort and knowledge to produce this in it's detail.I am subscribing to your channel.
What a great lesson!! I love how you break it down. Lots of good info to pay attention to and the detail notes matter! Thank you mate! I'm practicing your lesson now
So glad I found you on UA-cam. Thank you so much.
Always fantastic videos! Very accurate! Thank you for the good teaching!
Amazing tone! I have watched many of your video and they really cook!
Great lessons. Great songs. Just found you not long ago. I have a hard time finding good songs too learn. I've been playing a long time and if I see the song and hear it I can usually pick it up pretty quickly and the way you teach helps big time to learn songs. Thank you so much.
I'd love to see you do the song "Candy Baby" or whatever it's called by Montrose.
Thanks man.
Tim
Fantastic lesson! You just motivated me to relearn this song and play it correctly. Thank you. - Rich
+Richard Stodden Exactly! I knew most of this song but there were a few parts that I wasn't playing correctly! This song is amazing. I am learning this one to play with our band! It should really rock! These are really amazing lessons!
You are awesome Brother. Great accurate amazing breakdown. Thanks so much, God bless 🙏
F'n sweet work dude! 🎶👍
Great stuff! Excellent instruction. I really appreciate that you don't move painfully slow, and all of the time you are actually teaching. Lots of guys are simply repeating themselves, and what appears to be "winging it". You are a consummate professional.
I know this may be an unusual request, but could you possibly do a Uli Jon Roth "We'll Burn The Sky" lesson, from The Scorpions, Tokyo Tapes? That would be COLOSSAL!!!! Thanks for the lessons and inspiration!!!! -Skal
Best teacher on youtube!! Would love to see Going to California by Led Zeppelin!
ThatGuy655 Thanks! GTC is maybe my favorite Led Zep tune of all time. I may have a look at it down the road. cheers
Really love your vids, thank you.
great job keeping it all original. and you are spot on it is D and A i have heard people play it wrong at bars. And i think this is a great song for beginners for timing and things . But great job on playing and teaching.
You have to be the best on you tube...
Good teacher. A genius song by one of the greatest bands but always wondered how many of these details were in the original demos and not added by the studio musicians who reportedly redid the rhythm tracks on this album.
Dig your format Dude! Love the vibe teach’ 🤓
Fantastic! Thank you SOOOO much! Honestly, just great!
Your the best friend... very much thank you, great song choices, ⚓️🇺🇸

EXCELLENT
I love the no talking part. Way to B!
Oh master...
What's your signal like? I hear compression, a little delay....what else?
Again....Damn you're good. Thank you for sharing your craft. Rock and roll.
could you pls add bass intro so we could lay it on the regular guitar. thank you
Do a video on living in the edge
Thanks much....
Something that I never see anyone do that really adds to the sloppy joe Perry sound, is when you hit the third note of the guitar chorus (?) you slide your finger down to the open string then go up the frets.
All right all right 🤟🏻⚡️🌪
Hey shut up have you ever thought about doing Snowy White's "Bird of Paradise" ???
I think its a great tune and his guitar work has a very vocal emotional quality to it. Thanks buddy and keep up the great work. Russell
Great Lesson. I can do that sloppy chord playing instead of watching the pick hand to see how it's played... I do that all the time, that's why I like watching your lessons...I think Tom Hamilton wrote the music to the song as well as the great intro...
Great lesson as usual. Love to hear you play Uncle Salty - any chance you can put those one up?
Great lesson! Your guitar tones are always spot on for every song you play. What is your amp/ pedal rig? Do you use plug-ins to get your tones or just simple amp and pedals?
First, I LOVE your lessons. ... Second, I just bought my Gibson Les Paul and I'm struggling to decide whether to take the nickel covers off the pickups, the way you have. ... Do you think there's a real tone advantage without them?
love it/...wish you would give some un-plugged lessone sometimes for us acoustic pipe swingers out here XDXD
+Andre' Fickett Well, I've got a ton of acoustic lessons so not sure I know what you mesn.
The Best!!!
Roger Jr. Thanks Roger!
I love your freakin'g vids bro, you remind me of a friend of mine
At the very beginning you do the bass intro on the guitar wish you would show how your doing that
this is a great guitar lesson and everything sir, I have one question though. Do you think a 40 watt tube amp could be loud enough to gig with a drummer and bass player at a fairly big/medium size venue. Including being mic
Sweeeeeeeeet AhhhMoeshan rocks is the best album
