NC Transportation Museum: Membership Day 5-22-2021.
This adventure to the NC Transportation Museum was hot, sunny, but great. The Membership Day featured a model train show with many people selling and running their model trains, two different trains running with each one having a special perk (a passenger train featuring N&W GP9 #620, and a photo freight train featuring very rare cars pulled by SOU GP30 #2601 long hood forward with flags), N&W J Class 4-8-4 #611 is seen hear at Spencer being prepared to leave for Strasburg after being delayed due to a problem with the stoker. And to round it off, we see ACL E3 #501 pull out and do a lap around the property. Enjoy as we see plenty of action at the NC Transportation Museum.
