Kinda ridiculous how diecast from 20 years ago have much better quality than this diecast now I wish nascar would just move on from Lionel they don’t seem to care whatsoever
I just ordered one from the NASCAR store and they sent it to me in like a bag you would get a shirt in! With how the front of the car is exposed now and they didn't even put it in a box, the Goodyear lettering over the front wheel well is rubbed off probably from it being thrown around in shipping.... New box design is horrible for shipping but even worse when they just throw it in a bag with no box besides the actual packaging.. no packing peanuts.. nothing 😑
i have only elites and do love the cars... looking forward to the new boxes next year no fuel cell no reason to open the decklid on the arc agree on the elites for race versions only
I love buying Racing Champions 1/24 diecast from the 90s and early 2000s because I know that they were retail quality and for kids and casual collectors. The price reflects that to.But when you pay $60 or more and expect high quality and get junk like these present day Lionel ones are it is crazy.I refuse to buy this crap.
I might be asking a dump question, but why do people care about the deck lid opening or there not being as much fancy details? I honestly don’t see why people are complaining about it
Because the price of a 1:24 has done nothing but go up recently and the quality (little details) have significantly decreased. If I paid 40$ for this or even 30$ I wouldn’t feel that way. But a solid, good quality 1:24 was 70$ ab 6 years ago and now these things are ab the quality of a 20$ winners circle Diecast from 2000’s
@@wazda6488 it’s not just inflation, they’ve been doing this for awhile and have been decreasing in quality while raising prices more and more since 2017. To where the basic cars don’t have suspension, the car is made cheaper, the trunk don’t open and all cars did that before 2018. Lionel is a pathetic company and each year the cars get worse. They are even charging more for 1/64 and an extra $1 for the chrome number cars. Pathetic stuff.
@@wilfredgonzales3260 that’s literally what inflation means, the value of money decreases, meaning if companies want to continue selling their products for the same prices, they have to decrease the production costs
@@nickybracing816that’s extremely dramatic, Lionel does some things better on there cars too, it’s also a extremely expensive hobby so it comes with it. Quit crying
Don't you want Lionel to improve with their molds and quality or do yoy want the same crap that looks cheap? We criticize Lionel and that "if you don't like it, don't buy it" BS is not needed
You can't find a positive. That's why I quit buying in 17. As long as yall keep buying them they're gonna pump them out. Just stop buying a few years and they'll either go out of business or get the hint. Your life won't stop if you take a year or so off buying. It would be worth it. I won't get another until they do but an effort in. They're trash. U can go to Walmart and get a better car. 100 bucks for that pos. Can't do it bud
This is why I only bought Kevin Harvick's 1/64 car he raced at Watkins Glen at the merchandise trailer.
Just pre ordered my first diecast and I’m excited for it to get produced already

You would think spending 60-70 for Arc and 100plus for elites they could afford better boxes 🤦🏻♂️

Very fitting considering the real cars suck too.
