LOVE the Madeleys. They remind me of being at my Grandma's house in the 90s watching This Morning with her whilst doing housework. Haha. Lovely wholesome memories. ❤
@@amandajoyce6619 fortunately I’ve not met him. But he comes across as a narcissistic know-all. He talks over the people he interviews and just loves the sound of his own voice
I absolutely adore Richard I’ve grown up with him. When this morning first aired in October 1988 I was 11 years old. He used to catch my attention so much I didn’t want to go to school. I’m so glad that over 35 years later he’s still around and looking absolutely no different to how I remember him. An amazing presenter, journalist and entertainer. Congrats with your new books too buddy, I shall be reading them
That world back then was just different, homely and relatable. Indeed, no Sky even back then. So happy I was a kid and lived the experience. These were half-term breaks and school holidays.
My mum would set the VHS to record This Morning every day and I'd come home from school and we'd watch it together, eating sandwiches. Richard and Judy have never been bettered as This Morning presenters, please bring them back! If not, another husband and wife team would be fantastic, Ruth and Eamon, Tess and Vernon, they've got chemistry that you can't create!
Love this, although Richard said back then no laptops or i Phones, true about the i phones but not Laptops hs memory-I remember when one of the early episodes they were giving away -The "Tandy 200" Laptop. in a prize! They should of had Judy on as well!
Richard and Judy knew how to be impartial in journalism and presenting. Since then, things have rapidly gone downhill, hence why I don't watch legacy media anymore.
They always do this segment or get them back to talk about This Morning "We must remind the viewers how important this show is" I can hear in the meeting rooms. I like the show and know how important it is, but starting to have these ideas after the frequency of these segments. If it's the case, maybe more subtle ways could be good! and I do understand getting him in whilst talking about a new book is considered subtle. No hate, I love the show - just my thoughts whilst seeing these type of videos quite a lot.
Presenters are thinking in their heads ‘ When will this guy shut up ‘ I’d rather see Judy interview people than Richard . She was more natural. He should stick to writing absurd novels
This guy never ages he look s amazing how does he do it loved this morning 😊❤️
Same as Noel Edmonds

Same here, but also in the 80's as well!
Madeley - a legend. In his own mind.
Love him, met him. Really very decent guy actually 👏

@@bield7I love his obvious lack of self awareness even though it can irritate people. He seems like a nice person overall.
😂
90s this morning was the best
@Dim4323 yeah it was. (At the time) 10.30 until 12.15/12.20 then the regional news until the lunchtime 12.30 itn news
Agreed with Denise the agony aunt and Dr Chris Steel. The show was so good it was quite addictive tbh.

Still happens now a day off school and it's This Morning 😂

Wish Richard and Judy could come back!! ❤

If Judy doesn't want to do it then Richard and his daughter would be brilliant 👌
Cat deeley still looking fresh

Richard is like a cartoon character. “If I could sum it up in a minute…” [three minutes later].
I bet Richard would love to be a killer.
😂 he’s pure partridge

Does it mention a man ‘inadvertently’ taking wine/champagne without paying for it !! ….l
So vile. Enough nasty people in the world to go far. I suppose a decent person is easy pickings....nice.
What else does this gammon pigeon-dropping reminisce? Days of the good-old empire?
