Wow so much to unpack in this one. First off, Kabu’s expression when finding out what katana are for really struck me as him associating himself with it. Being made to only be used as a weapon, being used to hurt people. But Niwa saying that it’s also an art form, could make Kabu think of himself as an art piece too. Second off, I know I keep saying this, but holy crap the build up of Niwa and Kabu’s relationship that you know is leading to eventual destruction is killing me! You can easily see how much the care for each other, how much they love each other, trust each other. And knowing that their bond is going to shatter is going to break me. I love this series so much.
1:12 kabu's face lol and I'm still not ready for the inevitable angst,it's gonna hurt SO bad knowing that scara will one day see niwa as a killer and betrayer
Ahh poor Kabu hurting his hand~ It was very sweet Niwa teaching Kabu about swordsmith and their bond coming closer each day. Ah, the feeling of a calm before the storm from the way it's going.
