Thank you so much for this -- I needed to hear it. I am 62 years old and lead a very simple life. I live alone and often feel lonely and envious of others. This video is a great reminder to be content with simple things
I know what you mean about savoring the simple fleeting moments. I experienced this when after marrying, my husband and I lived in a little 420 foot cottage. Everyone kept saying "how can you live in such a small place? It's been eight years!" But finally one day we had to move. We had an opportunity to rent a much larger home through a co- worker of my husband. After moving, I never looked back on how tiny that place was where we lived before. I just loved remembering all of our candle light dinners at our little "prayer table", taking after dinner walks, watching the stars together on our little patio during hot summer nights, etc... space did not matter at all, in fact I still miss our little place. Now, I make sure to create more simple, loving memories in our ( much larger) home.
I read somwhere the other day where somebody said, "The good old days are now". How true that is and what a great reminder to live in and really be present in the now, in all these amazing moments right now. Your channel is such a lovely blessing. ❤
I love how ordinary you are, Anna. (You know what I mean). You're living a lifestyle that so many of us want ourselves. Your family meal looked really good. Thank you for this video. I hope you and your family are well. 🙂
Thanks for sharing!! 😊That’s exactly the kind of life I desire. Right now, I work in corporate settings which can be very overwhelming. My husband says eventually I can stop working when we’re financially able. Prayerfully it will happen soon. If you could please lift me up in prayer. Thanks again for this video!
Thank you so much. I can’t take the credit though. I used to have a terrible temper, a really negative attitude and quite the sharp tongue. I honestly could not be who I am today with out the help of Jesus.
“leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.” I haven’t heard this hymn in yearsssss. It made my heart smile.
A lovely video. I dream of a slower life, but feel so rushed with working outside the home in a relatively stressful job and trying to manage home things. I hope to find ways to slow down and enjoy life. Sometimes when I’m walking, I think about how we hope to start a family soon and how, Lord willing, these are the last days of life like this. It makes me both happy and sad.
It’s all beautiful in hindsight. I do pray the Lord help you savor the little moments, and if He is willing bless you in becoming a mother and homemaker 🤗♥️
@@AnnaDysett Thank you, Anna. At one point I did not want children and I asked the Lord if it was His will for me to be a mother then to change my heart and He did! 😊
@@HeatherLaurenCo Aww, I really really love that 🥹♥️ becoming a mother has been the greatest selfless thing I’ve ever done, and it’s changed me in the best ways possible. It’s also hard to understand God’s love fully without having children - I think.
Beautifully done. An ordinary life is beautiful and perfect. So true about blinking -kids grow up so fast! Your vlogs are so calming and inspiring and your voice so soothing. Love your dress at the end. Thank you.
I'm so happy you are learning what had taken me YEARS to learn when you find a nail system or polish you like stick with it. I've even done this with eyeshadows.i had dozen of eyeshadow palletes and nail colors, honestly it was overwhelming and i had decision fatigue until i simplified. Wonderful video
Yes! Same with the makeup thing. I would go through foundation after foundation thinking if I could just get flawless looking skin I would feel beautiful. Now I have something that works, and I just leave it alone! So freeing!
Same here! I've used press on nails for over 6yrs now! I think I've tried about every brand😄i use to use only the ones with the peel back, but I've learned the glue on ones last much longer. I've always liked the Dashing Diva brand too. But I get most of mine at Walgreen's, they carry the prettiest ones and get lots of new ones in regularly. But recently i tried the 'Olive and June' brand that Walmart has started carrying. They're the glue on ones and can also be reused! Most of mine last me 2wks+ which is pretty cool! I haven't tired the strips tho. I use the fun floss pick to remove mine also. So true.. time goes by so so quickly! And if we feel we're right where God want us to be, I we're hard in that place, no matter where that is, then its the right place. So we need to truly enjoy it! As we get older the saying 'we're not promised tomorrow' rings loud & true! So always enjoy today! And do what makes you happiest😊 Loved this video..thanks for sharing😊
Thank you for sharing about the nails!!! I definitely would love to give them a try!!! 🤍 what color shade are you using? They have several pink ones...thank you again for everything! You are a blessing 😇
Is it a good book? From the title I saw that it was Growing Up: How To Be A Disciple Who Makes Disciples. I managed to read some of the section you are in online but that was skimming. However, since you break out the highlighter I am presuming that it is thus far fairly enlightening.
Oh yes! It’s so good. I’m on the last chapter and I highly recommend it! Here is the link Growing Up, Revised and Updated: How to Be a Disciple Who Makes Disciples a.co/d/02cPdxY6
@@AnnaDysett I thought it might be since you ended the video with the last action focused upon godly contemplation and I did get the chance to read the few pages that you were opened on in Chapter 3. I am one of the types who has been a believer since at least 10 years old but have backslid numerous times while yet never completely losing faith. It is increasingly difficult but I understand most of what you are talking about--just slower these days.
I’m Scottish and I could listen to you all day so relaxing and I love all your content ,we tend to speak quite quickly so it’s a welcome change and I love to hear the Southern accent .

Sounds like a perfectly sized home. :)

Hi love! 🥰
Enjoy your videos but you speak entirely too slow. It’s wanna go to sleep listening to you. Lol. Maybe I’ll watch them at night. Thanks
Maybe 1.5x it in your settings 🤭♥️ I’m also a southerner so we just draw everything out lolol!
