Love the Cricket Ghost Ship, the framing is perfect! I have that chart but have not started it yet! So yes we all should stitch what we want when we want it is a hobby not a job and one of the best benefits of this hobby is the stress relief it provides. I have only been watching flosstube for 6 months or so but am amazed that things like wipco boards exist. To each his own, live and let live!😉 I so enjoy ur FT and getting updates on the dog she sounds like a real character. I hope the stress level will lower soon, we can all hope. Cheers
Hi Laura, thank you so much. I have to stick to plans etc in all other aspects of my life that it's kind of freeing to just do what I want with my stitching. I've kind of got over the guilt now, which sounds strange, why feel guilt over a hobby! the patterns don't have feelings, its not like a pet you forget to take out for a walk!! I did try Wipgo and did well for about 5 months but my life just took over (and I got the pupster) and then I just didn't want to stitch on the things that came up at that time. So I've decided I wont be doing it in 2023. But I will look with wonder at those who do and marvel at their discipline and progress!! Love your finish of Skeleton Crew! Your ink story reminded me of one of my dogs. I had just moved into a new house and was painting the basement a pretty blue. There was a loud noise outside and my scaredy dog came flying to find me and ran through the paint tray then freaked out even more and got blue paint on my carpet. I wasn’t able to get it all out,but the carpet was multiple shades of brown and it was hard to see

I'm impressed! My take on the Prairie Moon piece - the fabric is the showpiece, so monochromatic all the way. The red detracts from that. Perhaps drape it over another picture on the wall and look at it from a distance to see what you think, But hey, do what makes your heart happy.

On your black house piece--might you go for a very deep red, if you stick with the red? Also, a little backstitching on the outside border of the house would sharpen it's definition against the fabric.

Hi Lynn, Those sales/ghosts just have sooooo many stitches in them, they are deceptive. I took me most of my time to do them, but once I had them done the rest was a bit easier. It didn't help that I did it on 28 count, but now it's finished I'm just so happy with it and I don't mind the size at all, the coverage turned out to be just right. So glad that you are doing a better. For the doggie prints on the carpet, have you tried white vinegar in a spray bottle? Vinegar seems to be magic at getting stains and smells out too. The only thing is your house will smell like a salad for a while. Lol I love your part one finish of sleepy hollow, and I sure can’t wait to see what you decide on for the next part. I would try a darker red/black with jacks house

So glad that you are doing a better. For the doggie prints on the carpet, have you tried white vinegar in a spray bottle? Vinegar seems to be magic at getting stains and smells out too. The only thing is your house will smell like a salad for a while. Lol
