Speed, Titanic, Home Alone 1 and 2, Liar Liar, You've Got Mail, While You Were Sleeping, Scream, Jurassic Park, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Pretty Woman, Wedding Singer, Mrs. Doubtfire, and not to mention the Renaissance era of Disney movies. it was just golden. not saying the 80s wasn't great (they had awesome horror movies) but I had more personal favorites from the 90s.

They were awesome, as was every decade before 2000 hit. I particularly love the 80's... magical. I was too young to remember much about the 70's. The 20's were awesome. I can skip the 50's, but the 60's were fabulous!!!
Even i agree; i think it was 80's and 90's both.U do not see actors like they were in 80's and 90's . Leo, Keanue, Van Dam, Mel Gibson,Brad Pitt,Arnold, Stallon, Jackie Chan(who does what Jackie does) etc etc. They were all in 80's and 90's. A good body with a good face was a great combination. Plastic surgery was not predominant then. Actor looked great without surgery. They were all like real hero's should be. Now-a-days u see actors and they all look like kids who lived a comfortable life and does not quite look like a hero. Life became easier and comfortable, maybe they live in a mansion, with air conditioned rooms. Basically living an easy life.
They might look good in screen but i kind a don't feel for them.
This easy life trend will not stop, it will become easier and easier, comfortable and comfortable life.
Slowly this world will not produce those kind of actors. Time is relative it cannot go back and it will produce
actors who has to know their predecessors work and it will make the actors of 80's and 90's legendary or immortal.
More of CGI is being used, present day actors adopts plastic surgery to attain more perfect and good looks.
So i feel and agree 80's and 90's were the golden era.

So glad I was a teenager in the 90's. It was the best decade for films and actors. Yes, many great actors and films in other decades but there is just something special about the 90's.

Plus your ex-spouse might sue you and depending on how long you were married, if you have kids, you might still have to pay plus pay legal fees which are astronomical as well. So yes I know there are contracts that supposedly "protect you from money loss" but you will still lose money when your ex challenges the validity of the prenup and you might still have to pay your ex some type of financial settlement.

I just watched Marvin's Room for the first time last night, because I kept reading how great Leo was in it. It was made in 1996, the year before Leo made Titanic. It is a wonderful story, with Meryl Streep, Diane Keaton and Robert DeNiro. Leo is drop dead gorgeous! I couldn't take my eyes off him. He is a wonderful actor and a beautiful man.

One time I went to L.A. actually the 1st time ever and my gf had moved out there and I flew from D.C. to Chicago to LAX. I was was soo tired but the gf and roommate surprised me by taking me to the Blood Diamond movie showing exclusively for the cast crew and the big shot producers responsible for this great film. I didn't see Leo but I was so tired I fell out and snored and this pissed the crew in front of us off big time. I apologized. Later one of the major player producers ask me all about how I felt about the film. I was so embarrassed. He really wanted to know how I felt about Leo's south African accent. I told him i thought it was a kiwi accent at first but played it off as a joke because honestly I had no clue what the film was about due to snoozing through out the entire movie almost. I felt like such a jerk. Anyways all of the people involved were really great and my gf spulled the beans about my sleeping and they all got a good laugh out of it. Anyways that was one of the coolest moments one could have landing in L.A. and being able to attend such an awesome event.
