I honestly don't think any one really 100% knows the real truth as to why they cancelled the gifted. I been hearing 2 different things from people like the first reason it got cancelled due to the ratings (which is bull sh*t since the conner's is still going with bad ratings i mean seriously there have been some tv shows that had some very good seasons and bad seasons with bad ratings that are still playing. also there are tv shows out there that is worse than the gifted even though i love the gifted since i am a huge x-men fan growing up on it), and the 2nd reason why the show got cancelled is because most X-Men fans have assumed all this is something to do with Disney's purchase of Fox (because of there being no money from fox again another stupid reason to give it to Disney since they kill everything that i grew up on because Disney + decided to change some of the music in like mulan, beauty and the beast and etc due to it being (racist and etc) which is a lie).

Fan theory: what if Polaris is Wanda’s mom just Wanda’s powers were dormant and she didn’t know so when they did tests they unlocked it. The reason I believe this is because Polaris powers had red when she was pregnant and Wanda’s powers are red 🤔
