- Last week a received a happy mail package from Millie Marotta. It contained her latest book 'Wildlife Wonders' along with some wonderfully generous goodies! I couldn't wait to take a peek and i thought you might like to share the discovery with me.

Unfortunately I cannot give you the Amazon sites for this books as Australia has been blocked from overseas Amazon sites and we've been given a paltry, watered down, over priced version of Amazon in it's place. So I'll be damned if I give them the time of day, never mind refer business to them.

I love how you mentioned that you can paint the pictures again in a different colour. My mom was on holiday in Poland and 'accidentally' bought Johanna Basfords Enchanted Forest, not knowing I have the book already. I told her I don't mind because I'm still practicing and can paint with different medias and colours in that book.

I picked up my book a couple of weeks ago and was so excited. I only started on the first butterfly, but will have to do some research on some of the animals in which I am not familiar with so I can choose my colours accordingly. I am so in love with the book, the amount of pages and the quality. Ha ha ha, It will take me quite some time to get through some of these detailed pages.

How wonderful, I actually have 3 of Millie’s books and an artist edition but have sadly only started one picture. I would absolutely love to see a tutorial of the gradient effect you spoke of, maybe it would help my coloring mojo for her style of drawings. I absolutely love her artwork but my coloring technique was less than stellar so I didn’t try anymore pictures :( also, if you do decide to do a tutorial, please reference the original book so those of us without the new one may still be able to follow along. Thank you so much for all of your time and videos! You are much loved in our coloring community ❤️

Great to see you again Peta! With these new books you have and that are on their way to you, you will probably start a page in them, but I was wondering if you could do a color along in Ivy and the Inky Butterfly. I am currently working in that one. Would love to follow along with you. I took a bit of a break from coloring, and I find I am rather rusty. Need to bush up on things.

I would love to see how you color in Millie Marotta book animal eyes..! :) I have one of her books, but the eyes is left with the blank space, and I don't know how to color them... :/

New! Well sorta. t's a collection of Millie's favorite pages from all her books.
It's a new book, but the pictures are a collection of drawings from previous books.
Unfortunately this is just a re-hash!
Have you never bought a greatest hits album? It’s a wonderful compilation of her most popular images and give us a second chance to color something differently than the first time, or try again if we didn’t like the way it turned out. Additionally, if you don’t have all of her books it gives you the opportunity to color images that you don’t have. To say it’s a re-hash misses the point.
