Thanks for showing this helps me a lot
This is funny..every single barb wire type figure 8 knott video tutorial is an Australian fella...I love it! I like that yout just using the butt of the hammer to hold it tight
That guy is NZ lol
What the hell, that our adopted cuz from over tha ditch, Noice work cuz🇦🇺👌
A fine knot indeed
Bloody beautiful 👌🇦🇺
Perfect
Winding the wire around and snapping off makes a neat knot and prevents the wire snagging the other wires on the fence if they come together .
However it does not add to the strength of the knot and the brocken end leaves bare metal without a protective coating of zinc next to the tensioned wire .If the wire is cut off either side of the knot the corrosion must eat away the stub of untensioned wire before it reaches the tensioned wire leading to a longer wire life before it fails , especially in a high corrosion environment , think near the sea.
most wires use a galve aluminium coating that will oxide and protect the broken ends so this is a rather moot point
very good
Nice Finnish
That pretty
you must make it tit if it's a hot wire on a electric fence
Couldn't see anything, hands in the way.
