My First QRP POTA with the ICOM IC-705

This is my very first time out with the ICOM IC-705 operating QRP for Parks on the Air (POTA) in park US 1572 on Sunday September 9, 2024. Thats to all who hunted me down and special thanks to my friend Mike K4NYX for the encouragement.

QRP is fun. If I want to pack really small I carry my MTR3B kit. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) for the activation fits inside a tiny little Pelican 1060 case. Sure, it can be a challenge when the band conditions aren't favorable.........but that's part of the fun. Good job on the first QRP activation!
