With every season Karamatsu lets more of his real self come to the surface and it's so satisfying to see. When he's just chilling he's basically like a dad. He really is a lot like Matsuzou. He's spoiled rotten (like his brothers), but still can be the most reliable when the need arises... He felt so guilty about punching Osomatsu in S1ep24 he took it as a sign that he was also falling apart, but he never realized that was actually his most selfless and genuine act of kindness. When Karamatsu is at his coolest, he just has no idea. But that's what makes him so cool, I think.

Personally anyone who actively tries to rise others spirits up when things seems bleak, is a cool person. He's a good brother, reliable and kind, and I'm sure he wishes he was told that more often. Then seeing the movie and seeing his past self and how lonely and self conscious he was definitely hits different, I think we all need someone like Karamatsu in our lives.
Karamatsu must’ve gotten some therapy or really hashed things out with his brothers after Season 1 because S1 Kara and S2/3 Kara are like night and day
I feel like he started to stand up for himself after the episode in season 2 where he told Choromatsu on the rooftop that he hates how his brothers pushing him around and he was able to say it straight to their face that he hates that.
It's not obvious for non-nerds (😂) but his character is remarkably consistent and his development very cohesive when you put the right pieces together in order, so to speak. It's been so satisfying to follow his evolution.
