Tipping culture in the states is crazy. I’m from the uk and I remember getting room service at a hotel in New York and he stood there awkwardly waiting for a tip and I was shook
Nothing to do with Family Guy, but what Tasha said about using plastic wrap is 100% correct! What they do in restaurants is that they pull the plastic wrap out of the box while it’s on the table they put the plate on top of the plastic and then they fold the plastic on top of the plate! In all fairness, the restaurant grade plastic is way better than what you buy in the store!
I used to work at McDonald’s and they have these giant plastic wrap containers so like when I wrap leftover ingredients and put them in the fridge the box has like these cutters where you’d tear the plastic every box has them but these are giant so you can easily put something measurably big on it and it’s easy it’s not like the home ones where you’d have to rip it first because it’s smaller. The ones where I work are sizable.
I have watched all your Family Guy reactions dozens of times and they are always a hoot! I love your sense of humor and your laughs are so contagious. Keep up the good work with the Family Guy reactions and keep them coming! Family Guy is great. You should do some Robot Chicken reactions since it is the creation of Seth Green, the voice of Chris Griffin. I think RC is absolutely hilarious too.
yeah i dont tip at places that dont offer service. and ill stare them in the eye as I press "skip" lol. no one has ever said anything. i got no problem tipping actual service but im not falling for that scam.
I'm not giving a damn trip to someone who isn't bringing me my food at my table or taking my order at my table are filling up my drinks with a smile on their face. No service no tip
So an update on why tipping is the way it is. In many states now, the tips are pooled together and given to each employee. This includes the kitchen. You are tippng the joint effort. Not necessarily one person. This is how restaurants are staying in business now. It helps keep their labor cost low.
@@BuckyBarnesNC in this case not true. I work at an upscale winery restaurant. All gratuity goes to all staff equally. Works out to an extra four dollars per hour.
If you're picking up a pizza and taking it out, no way in hell should you be tipping the cashier/waitress. I doubt they'd give the tip to the person who made the pizza. But I'm sure his/her salary is decent enough otherwise they wouldn't be working there.
When I go to eat at Skyline Chili near my home I tip if I eat inside but if I go inside to order to go, I won't leave a tip cause I believe tipping is only if you have a waiter to serve you your food or if you are getting a service like a haircut though service like someone fixing your car I don't tip I just pay what they charge since labor covers the would be tip. I do think we should only tip if the service was good. I think mandatory tipping if service was terrible is stupid. If my food is so horrible and service was sloppy that I never want to return, I'm not gonna tip for that. In fact I may ask to have the food taken off my bill or refunded back to me. Also I rarely go beyond 20 percent.
Comparing Family Guy and South Park is like comparing vanilla and chocolate. Sure some might prefer one over the other, but it doesn’t mean it’s better than the other one.
There is actually a way to pull out and hold all cling film, with knots in the sides of each holder. So, tell me, since ive known this for over 40 years, why do i fight with saran wrap every time? Why?
On tipping: at restaurants, you tip at the end and your experience is complete. Tipping for Starbucks at the begining is 50/50 they're still gonna f up your $6 frap. Nope.
People if you’re gonna complain on how expensive stuff is, don’t go out to eat! Thats on you, not them! Seriously if it’s too much and you know it, go cook your own food. Seriously take some damn responsibility and stop blaming stuff on others. They’re not forcing you to go out and eat. If you can’t afford it, don’t go, and stop bitching. I go out to eat, I tip well, and I don’t complain. I work hard so I can afford it and the food workers work hard so they deserve some extra as well. Only people complaining are the lazy people who don’t want to work harder and make more money. You all should actually be the ones more sympathetic to food workers to be honest. Because you all don’t make enough either in your jobs because if you did you wouldn’t complain. That’s straight facts!
What?! I'm very confused. Tipping for pizza and food trucks??? Since when? 🤔 Unless it's an actual restaurant where they also serve pizza, yes I tip, but a food truck? He'll no, Never!
I'll tip at a food truck because if that's the only person in that truck, they're cooking my food too so they're actually working but Itip what Iwant, damn their percentages. Although their food prices shouldn't be as high because their overhead is way less than a restaurant. Your pizza place story though, no no no. I'm not tipping someone whose sole job is standing at a register. Nope. If you did nothing to prepare or deliver my food to me, then I keep my money.
Expecting people to share what they were gifted is crazy. Hell no that’s my fruit, get the F back, and get your own. Real talk. Seriously I’ll go share with family and friends if I want. Not you coworkers expecting something. 4:07
Restaurants should tip ME for paying for their overpriced crap. You hear me, Bonefish Grille, Olive Garden and every greasy-ass "New York Style" pizzeria? Cause I'm talking about you! Also, as to Family Guy and South Park... I say Yes.
Nope. Old geezer here and noooo tips for cashiers or for food trucks. They are paid a salary or own the truck. Waiters, hostesses, bar tenders...sure. Because they get zero or $2 bucks an hours and the rest is on us.
As long as you do both it's fine. Frankly, I'll probably skip the South Park segments and only watch the Family Guy segments as that's more my sense of humor, but there are almost certainly people who feel exactly the opposite - I guess that makes you two a microcosm of the general population.
What? People be complaining about spending too much. Why don’t you just make more money and then you won’t have to complain. It’s not in the restaurant because they have to stay in business and yes you should tip people. Only people that complain are those that don’t make more money, yet they could but don’t want to work harder. You be mad but that’s because you know I’m right. I moved down to Atlanta and man all the people down there complaining about how much stuff is. Yet you move up north to nicer areas and nobody is complaining.
@BuckyBarnesNC listen haas I work 60 hrs a week and make time for my kids. How about you send me your paycheck. Don't tell me to work harder. Not likely you could last a week doin the work I do. Under houses and in attics pouring concrete framing houses. Setti g tile. Stay in your lane
Why? Doesn’t hurt to give a dollar or two. Only people complaining are the ones that don’t work hard enough and don’t make enough money. Yet they still want to go out and eat. Now that’s ridiculous because if you’re gonna complain on how expensive stuff is, don’t go out to eat! Thats on you, not them!
@@BuckyBarnesNC You obviously are not familiar with the basis for tipping. Only people complaining are those that don't want to work harder to earn a tip and don't make enough money. See...I can play the game too. :)

If I order my food standing up, I don't tip. This was advice from my daughter the professional chef!

Only at Chipotle like places though. If you’re at a restaurant getting served they don’t share, they keep all individual tips.
