Luck has nothing to do with it. Bangladesh was simply not prepared to play in the big league. The team needs to be exposed to the stronger Asian teams like Japan, Korea, Vietnam and China .. and even the Philippines. Another ten years of focused and well funded hard work is what is needed to reach that level. Success takes passion and hard work .. not luck. Tigresses will get there with proper funding, training and support.

Why replace a successful coach (Golam Robbani Ch'hoton) who groomed and built up the team from the ground up with an unknown entity and a total failure? Screaming at the players from the sidelines just proves this guy did no preparation ... Bangladesh however showed noticeable improvement from the game against Japan which they lost 8-0. Vietnam and Japan are both World Cup qualified teams and thus amongst the top tier in Asia. Bangladesh badly needs to play more frequent matches against strong opposition like these two teams if they are ever to graduate out the South Asian region and become a credible Asian team. Possession an control are lacking and speak volumes about lack of adequate training, confidence, intelligent passes and strategy. Ch'hoton is sorely missed .. he inspired the soccer Tigresses. Well done to the team despite losses; hold your heads up high and keep believing in yourselves and training hard. Success at bigger stages will come. BFF - please get rid of the failed coach and find the team someone better. My heart goes out to Rupna Chakma ..

জাপানের সাথে এর চেয়ে বেশী আশা ছিল না। তবে ভিয়েতনামের সাথে পুরো রক্ষণাত্মক খেললে হয়তো গোল কম খেতে হতো। তবে দলের পজিটিভ মানসিকতা ভাল লেগেছে।
