This is new to me and I have been quilting since the 70s. It seems to be just what I need. (I am 82),
I finally got my Cutie put together and set up on an adjustable table. I am near Knoxville, Tn. Lots of quilts need quilting so I can't wait to get some practicing going.
I think it is an excellent quilting product

Can't wait to get the frame legs
I just received mine. I’m not tec savvy at all. I can’t even use a screw driver. But, I took my time and followed each step and got it put together.
Next came loading my fabric on. I have machine quilted before, but never on a frame. I have a 8 ft long table to use, so that’s where I put it. The only disappointment I had is that my Juki foot peddle cord is to short and won’t rest on the floor. The adapter that was sent wouldn’t work. But I can’t wait til in the morning when I go to pick up my banquet table and put my Cutie on it!

I think you solved the situation of the domestic machine how to set it up and the throat room as 5 inches short however, the bigger the throat less rolling, besides you can place it on a table. The cutie is perfect for a beginner to start with quilting! Great Demo Thank you

I have two big bookcases that are back to back. I left enough space that my Cutie frame fits between them for storage. Perfect. And the Cutie is lightweight enough for me to move around.

Where do you buy the paper patterns and the lawyer light
I have a Bernina 770. I understand the foot petal won’t reach to the front of the cutie frame. Is there a way to get an extension?
Hi MaryAnne, I am not familiar with an extension for the Bernina foot control. I recommend using the start stop button with BSR for stitch regulation.

I already own a Juki TL 2200 QVP mini and I ordered the cutie frame want to make sure I have everything I need to operate it when it arrives I am sure I will need the extension for the foot pedal and was wondering about channel locks also a speed control but it doesn’t look like any are compatible with my Juki model I would appreciate Any advice thank you
The extension cord included should work on your machine. Make sure that you have the free motion quilting foot, and know where to access dropping the feed dogs all the way.
And do the channel locks come with it and if not can I order them to fit the cutie

What are the additional items are needed besides the machine & table base.
Hi Nussy, you might need an foot control extension cord depending on your machine, or whether you want to use the start stop button. If your machine doesn't have a sliding speed control, you might consider looking into that. If you want to do ruler work you should get the domestic ruler base.

We do not have access to test that machine, but The carriage on the Cutie holds a machine that has a 11.5” width base or smaller, length of 23” or smaller and up to a 19” throat.

Hi Yvonne, We would not recommend that machine with the Cutie frame. I see that it weighs 50 lbs. I am not sure that it has drop feed either.

The Juki is not 9 inch throat. So what machine is 9 or more inch that goes with the stitch regulator. I can’t find one....why don’t you have combination with frame and machine that has a throat space more than 9 inches?
