Fog lights are legal but it should be below main head lights. Also u have to cover your aux light all the time when non used.
And led must be 7w, its legal, no RTO fine, but this may be 15w to35w

Just 2 queries- Do we have to cover the fog lights during the day? also the bracket that you used is it strong enough to hold the lights?
No need to cover, and yes bracket is very strong.

I use this in my i20 superb light hai
Great explanation. One thing that I would discourage is the position of light on the leg guard. Why? Because I was using it, the lower position of lights means even little bumps on the road feel like potholes (as the lower position of the lamp will cast a longer shadow). This may be looking okay on video but once you are in speed, this positioning gives you a false idea of pothole size which is dangerous.
One can use L clamps right below the headlight and out on the sided of forks to get better angle

The legal information on auxiliary lights is correct, considering both together the auxiliary lamp’s wattage should be lesser than the power of the headlight and also the fitment should be below the headlight. These rules I had read from somewhere in the notes of 2000 - 2001. One thing is not clear that this rule is for OEM or for users?
Why would you think the rules be different for either ,?

@@hariomkumar9617 It does matter, any un-authorised connections to wiring lomb increase in beam power lead to fatal situations that the users either blame the OE later. Some OE provide accessory slot with loading parameters in current carrying capacity etc., where you have luxury to add your gadgets. If improperly done then the OE has full rights to void user’s warranty. This is a huge debatable topic. I would suggest to visit a VW dealer in this regards of these factors they have already faced, other Automobile manufacturers do not stress on the safety topics.
