    Thank you! I sure did enjoy it! I love the choice of color on you! Definitely a money saver to do them ourselves and certainly more sanitized.

    Great tutorial! It's so refreshing to see someone actually post a realistic way to do their own nails. I've seen other YTubers post these crazy videos using a billion products and steps and swearing they do that every week! I do not have time for all of that! Thanks for keeping it real, as always

    Great tip on using a make-up brush to remove nail polish from ur skin! Never had thought of it and I've alway struggled with this step. I have tried q-tips, even the pointy ones but they never have worked precisely.

    Finally a perfect manicure, this is what I do, same exact products and all and I tell my clients to use OPI avo-plex daily to help keep the cuticles soft. I hate how many ppl on YT don't realize you HAVE TO USE SV ON WET NAILS, there are directions in SV and Seche Restore (the thinning drops) are a MUST bc the tromaline (what helps make it dry fast with a gel finish get gloopy from air exposure, so keep it closed when you can) and don't ever use nail polish remover in plae of Seche restore! xx

    Great video Laura! Seche Vite is my favorite top coat as well, but I don't like their basecoat because I find my nails chip much faster. My go-to base/strengthener is OPI Nail Envy original. Also, your brush came out of the cap because when you wipe your brush on the very top of the bottle. The product sits there and when you screw the top back on the product dries and makes it stick. If you wipe your brush off on the inside part of the bottle neck rather than the top, you won't get that buildup and the brush part will stay in the cap! :)

    • @vitalestyle
      @vitalestyle  10 років тому +1

      I do have the OPI Nail Envy and for some reason I feel like that makes my nails chip faster. The Seche Vite Base Coat is the best base coat I've come across but I am looking for a really good one that makes my nail polish last a bit longer :)

    Love that nail polish, the color is so feminine and sweet :) I do the same things pretty much, just that I always use a 4 sided nail file - buff, smooth etc.- because of the ridges, that happen to appear unmistakably on 2 of my nails each time...lol Vitamins and proper food are also of big importance for nails xx

    I need to try cleaning up my cuticles with a brush after i'm done painting them...i normally do it with the pointed end of a cosmetic q-tip but i think a brush would work way better... thanks for the tip!!!! Filing back and forth frays the edges and can cause them to tear or break.They have crystal files that are inexpensive and never get dull. They keep your nails healthier than that rough file.Just a tip from a nail tech

    Hi laura- Can you do a video on your necklaces from shoplately? Me and my girlfriends ordered some on their site and waiting for our shipments. We are curious about the quality since the prices are so reasonable. Would love it if you share of your pieces and how you feel about them

      I've had very good luck ordering from them. Some items are better quality than others but that's to be expected with costume jewelry. Overall, I have always been happy with the items I've ordered from them! :)

      Vitale Style oh Laura, I got got mine today. I am disappointed with the quality. I must have picked out the worse of the worse ones. They were a little bit better than dollar store quality. I have seen the ones you were wearing in some of the videos. Mine are nothing like what I saw on yours. The plastic is so cheaply made. :-( But I still like the site. I will explore some more and find a better quality ones.

    Wow, that's a lot of effort..
    I do my toe nails usally at a time where I don't need to go anywhere anymore and then after I my first post-varnish shower I remove all excess varnish by just rubbing or scratching it of my soaked skin. A good towel drying would do the trick aswell.
    For my finger nails I could do the same but I usually leave alittle space between my cuticles and the varnish (not much, about a 5th of a millimeter at the 'top' and a bit over a millimeter at the sides) so I don't have any excess to remove from there at all.

    you should not cut your cuticles, only push them so that you can apply your nail polish. maybe that is the reason that you have dry skin around your nails all the time.. try not to cut them and just apply the oil on them and you will see a difference

    • @vitalestyle
      @vitalestyle  10 років тому +11

      Pam Bee jenniviv it's called "checking to make sure I'm in focus" not sure why you feel the need to make a comment about "me checking myself out" because as you clearly saw, I adjusted my camera several times throughout this video and therefore I was nervous I messed something up and wasn't in focus.

    • @JesusisLord2129
      @JesusisLord2129 10 років тому +8

      Pam Bee I totally agree with you, now I guarantee you that Her Husband Joe or hersef will most likely block you from being able to read or leave a comment, they have to me, Joe BLOCKED a friend of mine from his IG just cause she said she feels Laura is a little sefish and may not ever want kids for that reason, what they need to realize is that if their sharing their life with the public, their going to get negative feedback at times, DOESNT mean to Block the person... GEEZzzz .. Grow Up VITALES!!!!

    Why is the cover shot like that? There's like a swipe of a yellow foundation across her forehead and her tooth looks chipped. Yet it's a nail care video. Am I the only one seeing that? It's really unflattering because she's just so gorgeous.

    • @vitalestyle
      @vitalestyle  10 років тому +2

      I don't have a chipped tooth and that's not a line of yellow foundation, it's the sun coming from the window.

    • @bwarren0121
      @bwarren0121 10 років тому

      Ooh. For some reason it kept showing it in mini version and it looked like that, idk why. But I knew your tooth wasn't chipped. I used to watch your cooking channel! :) I guess it would make sense that was the sun sorry I couldn't see it properly.
