@@ThisisYulia ok but a student can learn French without attending a French college or university. Actually B2 is quite a high level that Quebec requires for new immigrants. But it's a political decision by former PQ governments, including the demand by Quebec to select immigrants to Quebec and not allowing the federal government to do so. Québec basically wants French speaking immigrants. By comparison, in Spain there's no requirement to know Spanish to obtain residency, and even for Spanish citizenship (after 10 yrs residence) the requirement is A2 in Spanish.

Hi, thanks for the video, I have tried reaching you out on Instagram but no luck. I am from Canada, born in Ottawa, lived also in Alberta and Sask. I worked for Federal govt for 20 yrs after univ, then moved to Brussels Belgium for a private sector job and what I thought would be 5 yrs max, but I ended up staying for 17.5 yrs. Then I moved to Spain where I decided to retire. I certainly like to visit Canada but I cant see myself moving back there. What made you decide to move to Canada rather than Germany, if you spoke both German and English before you left Russia? Germany has a much better job market than Canada in most fields. btw, its not correct that ALL federal govt jobs require French although the most senior ones do require French/English bilingualism.
7 years ago Canada was better than Germany in terms of jobs + studying for 4 more years is no bueno when you’re 23 years old. I took 2 years in Canada and got a job right after college 👌🏼
@@ThisisYulia I left university at age 24 after completing a BSc and MSc. Then I worked full time for 4 years. I went back to university for 3 yrs for a PhD at age 27. There are many mature students in Canadian colleges and universities, there's nothing unusual about this. Lots of people return to college or university in late 20s or 30s to re-train, gain a better qualification or change specialization.

Hey what are your thoughts of moving to Canada with a 1 year old child will it be super harder? Or manageable
i think it should be ok as long as you have money for daycare 🙌🏼
Hey Yulia Вы знаете русский?
da 🌝
@@ThisisYulia Как дела ?😘
I love you so so much but I've got a question;. after your first program, did you have to renew your Student Visa or how did you go about it to stay longer - to study another course?
I applied for another study permit
@@ThisisYulia while still in Canada right?
yup!
Hi Yulia, I got offer from one college in Toronto and one from Algonquin, I am not sure which one to pick yet, I do not speak French, is it hard to find job in Ottawa for non French speaker?
it depends on the industry but it’s pretty easy to find a job without French, I should say 👌🏼
@@ThisisYulia so for international student, Toronto and Ottawa which one you will recommend? why you did not like Toronto again?
for me, Toronto is like a fake NYC. I don’t like that :)
@@ThisisYulia so except Quebec, ottawa is the best choice?
I liked it there. Ottawa has improved over the years, so it’s even more fun now ☝🏼
Yulia when you have an equivalence of bachelor"s degree can you get a program of 1 year to get the same degree as a Canadian degree? should I search in college or university ?
I would opt in a for a different one. check colleges, they have a lot of options to choose from 🎉
I'm going to do English classes in Canada for 6months with proper visa when its get over,I'm willing to do advance diploma there.. So is there any possibilities to take a visa while staying there...?
Me and my husband need the job
Merry Christmas Yulia! I was wondering tho, throughout those years have you went back home to Russia for a short time? Like for the holidays or anything?
Merry Christmas! I went once for 3 weeks 🐻
hi julia please teache me english im mexican and i need to improve mi lenguage cause im going to emigrate to Canada very soon.
By staying 1095 days in canada 1 year work you are able tp apply fpr citizen !!!! Thts what i heard please correct me
you need to be physical present for 3/5 years. they can count your work/studies for a period up to 365 days. so basically 2 years of not leaving Canada and I can apply for citizenship :)
@@ThisisYulia thts great yulia 😊😊💯😃👍
Hi julia , im also having same issues that you got in order of finding best programmes for myslf , im moroccan , i'd study 2 years economics in my country , i didnt like it then i quite and moved to turkey , i'm studying civil emgineering as i wished many times , all now is cool , its just i didnt like the life , opportunites are low , the vibe isn't mine ... im on my 2nd year right now , im thinking if i can make a transfer to canada to complete my studies there , like from 3rd year ... , is that possible , amd if it is , what's the procedure , wish a marryC , and waiting for your reply 🤗
I don’t think you can transfer from a foreign university to a Canadian one. double check that with your university 👌🏼
Could u please explain more about immigration to Canada in Quebec
www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/peq/index.html
I know but when you’re an international student you pay a lot more
@@ThisisYulia
Not in Germany
not in Germany. but Germany doesn’t offer 1 year program (at least 7 years ago that was the case)
I love the Russian accent
It's music to my ears
haha thanks
Yulia.....have you a CSQ of Quebec and how much time is required for waiting in QUEBEC skilled worker program for CSQ only
I think it's around 6 months for CSQ + 27 months for QSW. Also, now everything takes more time due to COVID :(
@@ThisisYulia I will come in Montreal because I like facrophone culture And enjoy the European culture in Canada. Actually I am from India now. And, I am worrying about QSW program because it takes 6 months for CSQ and 17 months for PR card
@@ThisisYulia This takes very long time to properly settle in QUEBEC
@@ThisisYulia And my second question is that can you make a video on how to get valited jobs in Quebec for Regular skilled worker program
@@ThisisYulia how much CSQ is valid in duration???
