My last can through silencershop (an OCL Polonium K) took about three weeks for the form 3 transfer to my dealer....but once they got it and filed my eform 4, it took ONE DAY for approval. This was about two weeks ago. So for me, that was pretty darn fast.
I just got back a Form 4 Private transfer got a Ak74 SBR stamp back in 3 months 2 days, last month I got back a 9mm can in 19 days and 2 months ago I got back a 22 can in 31 days ALL on Trust which is pretty darn good times. Also 2.5 months ago a 30 cal can as an individual in 14 days.
I use the Silencer Shop. My first can was in October and it took 4 days, my second can was in early November and it took 3 days. Did my first form 1 in August and that was 9 days. All with single shot trusts.
Regarding the Bren2, you may want to consider an HBI piston and piston spring even if you have a low-ish backpressure can. For reliability, it usually ejects at ~3 and forward from the factory. So, a reduced backpressure can on the suppressed setting might let you keep the carrier velocity roughly the same as unsuppressed. Bren2's recoil can be jumpy(rocking up and down) when the ejection is around 1-2 o'clock, which very much could happen if you run factory piston suppressed without Huxwrx. 3 or a bit forward is the sweet spot. Also, it is not an AR and shouldn't be tuned too far back at 4 o'clock. My 2c from running Bren2 11" 5.56 SBR. All based on 5.56 brass ammo.
About 2 weeks ago, got my first can after a 23hr form 4 approval wait. My second can will be form 4 processing for a week by tomorrow. Going on a ranch trip for a week tomorrow so I’m praying that this thing clears in the morning so I can pick it up on my way out of town..
@@LAWLESSXX88 Mine got approved yesterday and i was at 11 weeks soo you might still be waiting but hope for a fast comeback. My form 4 had a zipcode type and they still approved it without even fixing or bringing up the typo
I’m on day 6 for my huxwrx Ventum 556 :( i had a couple friends who got their form 1’s back in less than 48 hours. Hopefully i don’t get lost in limbo for 6 months.
Nice! Glad you got your new suppressor in 11 days. I’m doing a true Gordon clone after finding a clone correct upper and collar plus an AE M4 suppressor. Just certified both the lower receiver on a Form 1 and the suppressor on a Form 4 for my Trust last week. Hopefully they’ll get ATF approval soon. I was thinking the Form 1 would have approved by now given how fast my previous Form 1s have received approval. I can still dream😅
Submitted one in Jan, got held up till Nov. Cancelled it, resubmitted and it was approved in 3 days. Bought a second can back in Aug and it was 6 days.
Sandman S bought in store with SS process as an indiviidual. Submitted on 6/5 and approved on 8/30. Lazarus 6 purchased from SS as a single shot trust. Submitted on 10/23 and approved on 11/25. Definitely no rhyme or reason for the difference in timeframes. I feel my story and timeline is fairly typical. I am happy with both purchase processes.
Applied for my first suppressor at the end of March and still waiting for an okay from the atf.... 8 months.... they recently made me wait 5 days to take home an ak I bought... no priors no jail I'm not sure why the atf hates me
So I committed to Rugged Cans and therefore have thrown money at sticking to only THEIR muzzle brakes. Do you rokset various brakes on and then bust them off and swap them out with different brakes for different cans? Also… seems like a form 1 to SBR multiple guns would only seem practical for someone living in middle Oklahoma where you’re never traveling or something. Otherwise, that (in my mind) seems like A LOT to keep up with to cross state lines. Oh, nice blasters.
First can was 3 weeks … going on 1 week for my Reece 5k we’ll see what happens. My HRT got stuck on my muzzle brake and it was a pain in the ass to remove!!
Month and half into waiting for my ventum 762, went into my local shop today and picked up a lower that only took 15 minutes to get approved, i got maximum confusion 😂
ATF wait times still suck for me. I recently bought a basic 22 suppressor and now over 2 months waiting. What changed again because I dont see it and this is my third one now.
Yes, $200 for each stamp. 1 stamp per suppressor. You need a threaded barrel to attach one. Normally a 5.56/.223 will have 1/2x28 threads 7.62/308 will have 5/8x24 9mm Pistols are usually 1/2x28
A week ago I did the work on my 2 stamps for my Honey Badger SD, suppressor stamp first, because I was advised that doing the suppressor before the SBR helped move that stamp through more quickly. Anyone know if there’s any truth to this? Will a two stamp gum take significantly more time the a single stamp item?
First one was 2 months in June last one was less than a week last month... both times I sent an email an later that day I got an approval/stamp.. coincidence? Or did I find a cheat code? 😂
Did two stamps 6 weeks ago. Took 36 days each. Came back 6 hours apart so that was two trips to the FFl.

My OCL Polonium-K was approved in 3 days, 1 responsible person trust. I was shocked.

Griffin makes great suppressors
Interested to see the comparison between the HRT-556 and RC2.

5 days approval with a trust for me couple months ago through SS
I’m hoping you will get the chance to test/try the Griffin Armament PSR. Would love to see a review on that can… not much info on UA-cam about it
The HRT build is sweet with excellent color combinations, is there a reason for the angled foregrip? I tried them and didn’t like them.

Awesome video.
Been waiting on a form 4 for an individual since October 18th
I think once you get your first sbr or can it goes easier at least it seems that way to me.
Love how even the most pro 2A people tell you buy a can even though there is a unconstitutional tax stamp

Question about your Scar17. Just bought an EOtech for mine. Any issues like maintaining zero?
I’m still waiting and it’s been since March of this year.

Not fast…. 8 weeks and waiting….
E filed at a kiosk with silencer shop…
@Just_a_guy093 reach out to your state representative once you hit the average wait time posted on atf website
@@Just_a_guy093Had my .22 can in hand in 3 days.
Filed for one after hearing about this awhile back and mine got cleared about two months after
If your patient and wait we won't have a tax stamp for this.
Is it $200 for each suppressor tax stamp?
Do you need a specific muzzle to attach a suppressor?

What’s your favorite suppressor for an SBR
What's the deadline today to send in an AK lol

42 days for my q erector. 22. Waiting on two more smh 57 days so far.
I’m almost to 4 months waiting time in a form 1 and a form 4. So there is no logic in this system 😖
It took me 93 hours starting November 20th
F that. Abolish the ATF, dont pay a dime for a tax stamp. And you shouldnt wait one second to buy a device that saves your ear health. So stupid
Yeah we know…. Yet we all own whisper pickles and enjoy them.
It doesn't get carbon lock. Zero POI shift.
Soon, the ATF won't exist. If we are lucky.

two months and no response
My latest Form 4 Approval took 11 weeks and that with a typo on the zipcode which they didnt even care to fix when approved. this my 5th can this year
