Innovative Design: Turning a Dark Basement into a Light-Filled Living Space
The project is a renovation of a 40-year-old building on Shidong Road, turning its dark, unused basement into a vibrant living space for a family of four. The design solution includes creating front and back courtyards to improve lighting and ventilation. The transformed basement features open living areas, while private spaces upstairs integrate greenery, adding natural light and fresh air. The project beautifully merges nature, family interaction, and modern living.
