I'm not a huge chorus fan yet but, I love the simplicity of this pedal. Good Job EVH / MXR!

I couldn't care less about the rate, being that it's set to exactly where I like my chorus anyway. What's important is the tone, and mxr hit this one out. Reminds me of the old Roland rack units. This might replace my Boss. Sounds great in stereo.

tried one at the music store last week, sounds great but I cant give up my original boss chorus from 1984 which I bought new. Only 2 knobs and its bit beat up but still sounds amazing after all these years!
I think Eddie probably had some of the best tone in the game before he switched to peavey.

Tiger blood 1978 just remember, without a good drummer you wouldn't know the tempo of your songs there for the band caves in and goes and utter chaos and turmoil. Drummers are the backbone of the band.
Super dig it, makes everything sound really full and lush.
It’s a great chorus for hard rock and heavy metal and of course Van Halen, but I think if you are trying to the more experimental stuff you need a rate knob for sure, I also kinda get a Guns N’ Roses Slash vibe from it
Sounds great! Yeah screw the rate knob, who needs that in metal? Chorus is basically used as a doubler.

I remember this was based on some half-rack chorus unit from Roland which didnt have rate knob so I think that's the reason

The pedal is a Stereo pedal. One output went to the Orange, and the other went to the marshall

It's exactly a doubler as you say. Sounds great for that.
Not a chorus effect I would use, sounds horrible as a chorus.
MXR Black Label Chorus for me.
I have the EVH flanger and what I don't like about this pedal is that there is no sound that you can get from this that you can't also get from a more standard chorus with a rate control, which takes away most if not all of its flexibility. For that much money and that much board space it needs to be able to do more than it does.

Just a very friendly pointer. I know you've got this killer Canon camera for video but the videos you've put out since you got it have all been very flat looking. Using a log type profile requires a lot more post pro for the footage to look normal. The room and in some cases, your skin, looks grey. Looks unfinished, that's all :)
