I wish I had caring parents or an aunt and uncle who fully believed in me. I wanted martial arts training but I was denied. Oh well. I'm gonna die soon anyways. It's too late. I'm already feeling pretty weak.
Electra Magneta Prime it is never too late to learn how to protect yourself. I have a similar story and now I have moved countries just to train.
The Transient Lioness Really? I wish I personally know you. Martial arts not only teaches me self defense but also it's good for my health and mood. Truth is I actually want to die because know one really believes in me. I had a messed up childhood to begin with and my aunt and uncle took me in because my parents abused me. They love me but they don't truly believe in me. I had asked long ago to learn martial arts but they refused. My aunt and uncle is pretty old fashioned unfortunately. But I still want to badly learn martial arts. That is one of many issues I have. Another is that I think of suicide everyday. Still have other issues I haven't named.
I am sorry that happened to you. And believe me when it comes to parents not believing in you we are in the same boat. It took me a long time to gather my mind, my courage and less time to gather some money to jump on a plane and move to a different continent to study martial arts. Take small steps and work on your own, only tell a few who will encourage you even if it's only one person. You can do this!!! We have people in our classes who are 50, 60 and 70. Don't worry about age. And I also suffer from anxiety and depression, in those time I call a good friend and if that one's not available I will call another. You can do it just take things one day at a time
The Transient Lioness Thank you for your support. I probably have to learn it myself somehow. I wish someone can actually teach me but no one will. One of my cousins is a black belt, but she doesn't really care about me as far as my feelings goes. I can't drive, which deabilitate me even more. My depression kinda keeps me from having a quality life. Can't even keep a job because of it. I have a cousin that's willing to listen, but I don't even trust her fully. I wish I have a friend like you. I can already tell that you would have been a very good friend to me.

I dont know karate, but if I compare it to what I know from taekwondo she didnt hold her moves nearly long enough and what you call sharp was just her doing it fast. Seeing that she is a black belt that was really underwhelming. And all of you are just complimenting most of those girls because you haven never seen how its actually supposed to be done and because they are female.
@@PieceOfCandyPS I have been doing karate for almost 8 years now and this is exactly how you should do kata, maybe in taekwondo it is different, but in karate it is like this
@@lejla6820 Nope, not true. I did some more reasearch on this. People who are actually good at katas have short pauses in between moves and when they actually hit they do it fast, just like in taekwondo. If you do them like that girl in the clip frankly you suck or weren't taught right.

This is what I'm aiming for I don't want to be a black belt because it's never the end. I started karate 2 years ago and have been to loads of competitions and i am a purple stripe belt (which is the 10th belt including white) by the time I'm 20 years old (I'm 13 right now) I want to be as good as the women in this video 😊🥋👊

No body is stronger than girl
My parents are both over 3rd degree black belts in aikido. They haven't practiced in about 5 years and I know neither one really can due to injuries. I have wanted to do martial arts for a while. Tried aikido but was to big for the kids class being 10 and my dad being an inch from 7 foot. For some reason I stopped, probably cause I did volleyball. Not that I quit I really want to get into martial arts

Punch is very power full
Not all but there were some really good kicks, the others were more of the art of martial arts. There are two sides to martial arts, an art side and fighting side. The many kicks to me is the art side unless there is a reset involved or continuous hip rotation which is where the bone breaking damage comes from.

ffs with the MMA thing. The best MIXED martial artists fight mma... women's MMA at top level (ie UFC) is pretty bad as far as striking goes. There are better strikers in the 'non mixed' arts like boxing, May Thai, kickboxing, Karate, TKD etc.
As for the movies... think you'll find those are the best gymnasts and trickers (pretty much what you see in this vid but higher level)
