I dunno whether it's because it's actually interesting or that he only has one eye, but he's the only Minecraft fact youtuber who can keep my attention throughout the entire video.
For me, it's that he doesn't bs his videos with a bunch of filler content to pad video time length. All of his content is straight to the point, which makes him a great source for people that are getting back into Minecraft after years. Also the fact that he doesn't use the annoying UA-camr voice helps a lot, for me, at least.
But.. If the Pokémon version is based of a real life Axolotl then why not just say that the Minecraft one is based of the real life Axolotl? Isn't that like saying a Minecraft horse is inspired by the Pokémon Ponyta who's inspired by an actual horse? (Genuine question for a serious answer)

No, bad omen is obtained by killing an Illager captain, which are the ones carrying the Illager banner. You can either find them at outposts or through the Illager scout party which spawns occasionally.
Tips for my fellow minecraft players: When trying to find buried treasure, If you face North(the top of the map is north), go to the middle of the X, and make it so the bottom of your marker is just barely sticking out from the bottom of the X, then dig down, you will be guaranteed to find the treasure on that block. There is also a way to do it with chunks but I don’t remember how.

Now I know Swift Sneak III is super rare but once again given my penchant for finding ancient cities I've gotten a lot of Swift Sneak books. At least 12. It very almost overwhelmed my chiseled enchanted bookshelves. I also got some diamond leggings which I also had at least twelve so I did some major enchanting, placed unbreaking and mending where necessary and some protection enchants where necessary, and then every single thing leggings got the swift sneak III. So I have at least 12 leggings just in case something happens to my current set
I also tested out sometime back this new feature where the note blocks can now make the sounds of the mobs if they have the head on top. Very interesting I will say. Mojang should just add all mob heads so like pigs cows chicken spiders you should be able to get everything.
You can also get a mending book just by fishing… I’m surprised you didn’t list that. I’ve gotten 3 mending books with fishing and caught several fishing poles with mending on them, then I’ll put luck of the sea 3 on and have a fishing pole that gives great loot and never breaks since you get xp
you forgot to mention a useful tip when finding buried treasure, and that is to go into f3 and look at the chunk coords and go to 9, 9 and that it where the buried treasure always spawns
What about bedrock? I've tried doing 9x9 in the center of the X but it ended up being off quite a few tiles, and also much higher up than 40 tiles down (if that makes sense lol)

I remember the good old days when enchanted golden apples were craftable. I used to farm the heck out of Mesa biomes just because I wanted to make them. not anymore but I like the fact that the ancient cities are easier to find them. I basically got at least 22 enchanted golden apples but right now I have 13 because of the withers that I was talking about
I'm very aware about brown mooshrooms. I personally have never tried this because those mushroom biomes are hard to find I will say however I did manage to find one after a good while in my world. It was ridiculously far. But I never did try to do the brown mooshroom because I honestly didn't stay that long for a lightning storm to show up.
Another thing that is extremely rare is the Wither Rose. When the Wither health is low a few Wither skeletons might spawn and only Wither Skeletons spawned by the Wither can drop Wither Roses.

Ah yes? Things to collect on the anarxhy server I play on. I tried for a long time to get that purple Axolotl during the time period where it was easier to get but to no avail. Tbh i probably already have most of the items on this list. The deepslate emerald ore was a lucky one. The server updated continuously and a small amount of time had deepslate emerald ore as a more common item, and then after that a duoe was discovered. Now I have tons.
wouldnt call the dragon head that hard to get tbh they are on EVERY single end ship(ik the end ships arent always common) just seems a little easy to get tho
an easier way to kill the wither is to go to the end and go under the portal. Spawn it in in a way which it would suffocate and it will die within seconds. Easy :)
I found a heart of the sea literally like 40 blocks from my initial spawn point in a pile of sand by accident when i was just clearing around a seaside cliff I wanted to build my base at
13:50 on a friends server I had claimed a giant mushroom island. I started breeding like tons tons of these mushrooms in a giant part of the island. I used about 13 stacks of weed before I was done breeding and the breeding took so long some could be bread again. I got lots of these brown mushrooms and eventually all the red mushrooms became brown mushrooms (I also killed lots when breeding for xp and lots of food/leather) I somehow managed to kill more red ones then brows ones untill all my mushrooms where brown. Luckly I had like 4 red ones left (because I kept them somewhere safe). I killed like 99% of them untill I had like 10 brown ones left and I hid them and I started my massive breed again😂😂 those brown mushrooms are kinda rare but not to much when you have like 3000 cows in a giant field hahaha
The brown panda actually does have something that separates it from the normal panda besides color, brown pandas will retaliate to attacks dealing 1 heart of damage, at least in bedrock edition.
Single luckiest thing to ever happen to me while playing was getting this encounter where lightning struck nearby me and spawned three Shelly's riding horses. I presume this is a nod to the 3 horseman, but I never knew this was a thing at all until I saw it happen
What sucks, is apparently the next snapshot is changing the trading mechanic so only master-level Swamp biome librarians will sell Mending books. Those village don't spawn naturally, so that means you'll have to build a village in a swamp, then make a librarian, then trade them to master level, and THEN get your damned book. They're doing similar bullshit with other good trades too, but Mending is the most glaring.

I imagine they're doing it to crack down on minmaxers who are abusing what is essentially an exploit, but those minmaxers will just find a new way to exploit it. All it really does is cheat new players out of getting a really lucky trade and feeling good about it, like when I got really lucky on my first ever world and found a villager who was selling the Infinity enchantment, and force players to build their trading hall in a specific place instead of wherever they want. I just feel like it's imposing rules and restrictions on a game that isn't supposed to have rules and restrictions, forcing people to take a game that is meant to be played in any way and play it in a specific way.

If Evokers have totems of undying, how do we get the totem by killing them. Wouldn't we have to kill them twice, but then the totem would have been consumed? I guess they must not have had it in their hand or offhand. 🤷♂️
One time I traveled far away from spawn found a golden enchanted apple, died without setting spawn point and quit that world cause I lost a golden enchanted apple
Currently I have two dragon heads and I have at least five different conduits one is already powering somewhere in the ocean far away from my house. the rest have not been used unfortunately. I know for a bit of time whenever I found an ocean monument I would beat the elder guardians and then place the conduit in the treasure room so after I got the gold I would just put the thing in there so then every time I pass by the ocean monument I'll know I have conquered it when it gives off conduit power as opposed to mining fatigue
I wish I knew about skeleton horses the first time I encountered them. Damn things fell from some ice blocks and sunk right into the ocean and became impossible to recover.

I love those odds for skeleton horses. One of my worlds had not 1 skeleton horse spawned, but 3 of them spawned with the skeletons on them.

Currently I have two dragon heads and I have at least five different conduits one is already powering somewhere in the ocean far away from my house. the rest have not been used unfortunately. I know for a bit of time whenever I found an ocean monument I would beat the elder guardians and then place the conduit in the treasure room so after I got the gold I would just put the thing in there so then every time I pass by the ocean monument I'll know I have conquered it when it gives off conduit power as opposed to mining fatigue

It is a blue Axolotl not purple.
