@OmarChannel I am a fan and I was entertained by the athleticism and creativity displayed in this years competition. People need to stop complaining and realise that these four players put on a great show for them. Stop complaining about the dunk contest, it was good. It was entertaining.
Next year Lebron, Blake, Durant, and Deandre Jordan should enter the dunk contest. That would be a truly epic showdown bringing the slam dunk contest back to its former glory.
@MannieMoldova it means the dunk contest was never the same since Vince Carter. Vince set the standard so high that I don't even watch the dunk contest anymore, i just watch the highlights because I know none of the dunks are gonna "wow" me.
This year's dunk contest makes you appreciate Blake's (over the hood) car dunk and last year's entire contest a bit more. lol I can't imagine it getting worse than this...
Dunk contest looked pretty good. It probably wasn't super amazing cause we didn't know any of the dunkers. If it was Lebron jumping over two people, it'd be something amazing. Great dunk contest, i just wish we'd see some superstars join.
Like how they let the fans choose the winner of the dunk contest, fans should be able to choose who is in the dunk contest next year.That would be legit!
@allday1997 That's not why, its because they only picked 4 dunkers in 3 rounds! They picked first time dunkers who although good players aren't good dunkers compared to others. There are still thousands of new dunks if you have any imagination. But the best players wont go in the dunk contest because they might get injured and don't want to make the NBA commissioner more money after they were RIPPED OFF during the lock out
@dmdpro5 I was referring to top players like James who dunk well, but don't participate. Obviously there are great players in the league whose game is not focused on dunking. And just because a player is in the dunk contest, doesn't make them "great."

@mod4life Nope, that's absolutely not true at all. Look back on dunk contests in the 90s and 80s. It had the superstars in them, it was never supposed to be about getting young players exposure. Didn't you hear what Shaq said when Jeremy Evans was getting his trophy?
